Coffee Traders — Restaurant in England

After a spot of heavy rain and thankfully Costa and Starbucks full, I decided to try this little cafe on the right from Costa!

I'm so glad I did!!

I ordered a BLT baguette which comes with small chips and side salad.. also a flat white and a ginger beer.

The baguette was delicious. Fresh crusty bread, bacon cooked perfectly. Mayo is available upon request but I didn't feel it needed it.

The flat white was lovely and milk perfect with a gorgeous heart latte art ontop. Fantastic.

My only personal preference is I didn't like the ginger beer by green bottle. But that is not the cafes fault.

Lovely service by all who was working and even though I was solo felt welcomed. Clean cafe. Will be back again.

Waited nearly an hour for 2 sandwiches and a toastie. The sandwiches were dry although that doesn’t really matter. The toastie was burnt. I don’t mean “overcooked” it was black. But was still cold and the cheese had not been melted in the middle. We complained to the manager who was very rude to us. They said we had to pay full price even though we did not eat the food. £35 for 3 meals. I had a friend who was late for a meeting and had half an hour to grab a quick bite which was told to the waitress at the time of ordering. We were seated opposite the kitchen door and could see the toastie sitting on the side while the sandwich was being prepared. I wish I could give a 0/5....

Visited Truro for some shopping and a wander around from Bodmin. Would have usually gone to Cloisters but was shocked to see now gone and changed. Not really been to Truro for a while since the lockdowns do not really surprised to see things changed. Been to Coffee Traders before and thought I'd go back. Very friendly staff, very clean and tidy. Good to see the tables deep cleaned before new customers. Reminded to scan the Covid app too which I was impressed with. Nice to see all staff were very attentive to the Covid rules. Great service and extensive menu. All day breakfast seems to be very popular there. Will definitely be using Coffee Traders from now on....
