Now what do you expect when you go to Windermere ? Beautiful scenic nature , fresh countryside air, and warm people ! Well that’s what I thought, till my tummy started to have the pangs for food. The homemade nachos from bandito burrito just decided to make merry in my tongue and blast their flavours leaving me hopelessly drowning in greed for wanting more of it! I liked the name Bandito burrito , and I entered with the hopes that this cook right here would be the bandito to steal my hunger away , but guess what , they stole my money away with some amaaaazing food! I think now when you say Windermere for me , more than parks and treks , I would remember this food, and sometimes would take the odd train from piccadilly to Windermere just for their burrito. Must try : - The homemade nachos - The chicken burrito - The veg/ Buddha bowl. The staff are really warm and welcoming and they were even sweet enough to guide us the best transpiration to Keswick !! Amazing place serving some of the best food , keep it up guys ! I’ll be seeing you soon, since I am one of the last ones who still stays faithful to my tummy and cheats my calorie deficit 🥵

I recently checked out Bandido Burrito in Windermere, and I absolutely loved it! From the moment I walked in, the cozy, colorful decor made me feel right at home. The menu is packed with so many tasty options that it was hard to choose just one. I went with their signature burrito, and it was amazing. The ingredients were super fresh, and the flavors just came together perfectly. The burrito was stuffed with tender, flavorful chicken, I could feel the yogurt used to season the chicken perfectly, crispy cheese and, and the perfect amount of spice. Plus, the portion size was really generous. The staff were awesome, too. They were super friendly and made sure everything was just right. They even helped me navigate the menu and recommended a few great choices. Overall, Bandido Burrito hit all the marks for me – great food, cool vibe, and fantastic service. If you're in Windermere, you’ve got to give this place a try.

It's been a while since I had another restaurant that is so good that I have to say outright the score is a snappy 6/5. Bandito Burrito is an independent Mexican place in Windermere town that is in my opinion the best food place in the whole Windermere region. The food was so good that we went there twice, with the second visit done right after they opened at 11am and less than an hour before our train back to home. Even though this restaurant is open only from 11am to 4pm with Sundays closed, we know the place is so good that you will have to give this place a go. My wife and I both agree that this place serves the best burrito in UK. The spicy pulled beef burrito is our favorite with the chicken feta being a close second. The chicken quesadilla is also one of the best we ever had. In the end, we were really happy with the food and the terrific service provided by the staff at this plകക്ഷംace.

What a great little spot nestled away in Windermere. A small shop, but it gives a big welcome from the smell of the food and the friendliness of the staff. I entered and I was greeted with a friendly face and shown to my table. I chose the spicy beef brisket burrito bowl and my partner the chicken and chorizo bowl. This was some of the best mexican food I have ever eaten. We paired it with a popular mexican soda which had so many flavours. Our waitress helped us choose a great flavour and it went down a treat. I can highly recommend this place to anyone looking to grab either a quick bite to eat, or a sit-down meal surrounded by traditional mexican artwork you can buy (I think local artists) and the buzz of the open kitchen.

Me & my partner absolutely love this place! If you love mexican food then you HAVE to try Banditio Burritio if you are near Windermere!! We haven't had a dish yet that we haven't enjoyed, delicious food, great atmosphere, lovely staff; very friendly and get to know you so they can suggest things you may like. Quick service, food is served hot and reasonably priced! Be warned the foot is very filling, first time we came we had nachos to start and then burritos and could barely move afterwards 🤣 The burritio bowl is great for anyone that is GF and it's really filling! Eating here is a must whenever we come to Windermere!

We came here for lunch on a Friday and my veggie partner ordered the cauliflower burrito and I got the caramelised carrot quesadilla (vegan). We also got hasselback potatoes to share and jarritos to drink. The flavours were interesting and amazing - the only thing was that both the carrot and the cauliflower were a bit undercooked and crunchy in the middle. The staff were great though and we loved that we could have as much hot sauce as we liked to try. The hasselback potatoes were really good. It’s also nice to see so many veggie AND meat options on one menu. We’d come back for sure!
