I stayed at Jerichos Hotel for 3 nights and was my 3rd visit. The 2nd time with Hayley and Steve who are excellent hosts and have maintained the high standard of this charming Victorian house.||It is well located - only a 5 mins walk from the bus and train station and there is also a bus stop at the other end of College road. Its location is in a quiet road and although I didn't bring my car there is plenty of room to park in their grounds.||My room was excellent. The water is always hot, a good shower and tea / coffee making facilities are included. Its good value for money. The rooms are serviced every day, the beds are comfy and the towels nice and soft. Wi-fi is great and there is a good sized TV. The bathroom sink is small and splashes and i would prefer a black out blind / curtain on the window but I always go anywhere with a sleep mask as light wakes me up.||Hayley and Steve are a lovely couple and make you feel very welcome on arrival. The breakfast is lovely and there is a varied choice that should cater for all tastes and the food is cooked fresh and is piping hot when you get it. They are very accommodating, cant do enough for you and you are always greeted with a cheery welcome each morning. ||Jerichos is the nicest B+B I have ever stayed in, and its in a wonderful and scenic part of the world. It is good value for money and I will definitely...
Read moreJerichos is a lovely (not just a B&B) Boutique Accommodation and it lives up to that name easily. Steve and Hayley are wonderful hosts very attentive and nothing is a problem. The room we stayed in was fantastic with everything in the room that you could ever need, decorated lovely and spotlessly clean, the bed is massive and very very comfortable which is great for a great nights sleep and even though it is literally a 3 minute walk to the centre it’s on a very quiet road. Breakfast was absolutely gorgeous and tasty coffee and toast all made fresh with excellent quality ingredients for the breakfast the host couldn’t be anymore attentive. The weather wasn’t too great but we didn’t mind as also you get use of a gym/spa and swimming pool just 5 minutes down the road by car which was a nice touch. Info in the room was very informative with Loads of walks and local pubs and restaurants listed in the guest book. We tried the Greek restaurant up the road and that’s a great experience. Overall you won’t be disappointed and Thanks to Steve and Hayley for a great...
Read moreThis quaint property has an abundance of potential but just didn’t quite hit the top notes for us! - Clean, cosy with a ‘confident’ host, but definitely NOT somewhere for late to rise night owls who just want to spoil themselves with a lie in. It’s our fault as we should have read the small print, but checkout is 10am and breakfast is only served til 9:15 at the latest. Sadly we had to abandon the breakfast as it was just too early for us, and we did kinda feel like naughty teenagers (and we are certainly not that!) being turfed out early doors after a late night! The room was very clean and peaceful. The downstairs lobby looked great but offered no meaningful attraction, such as music and/or a TV…. or food or drink… or actually anything come to think of it, apart from a few seats. We found the bed a bit on the firm side but did appreciate the addition of room fans, exceptionally clean linen and complimentary shower gel. Would we visit again? - Sorry, we wouldn’t because we like a lie in and want to have breakfast around...
