Barbican Inn — Restaurant in England

We were staying at looe bay holiday park and came across this place whilst looking for a local shop. We booked for a table of 8 as it was my partners birthday, not knowing what to expect as couldn't see a menu or anything online, we arrived and was seated at our reserved table, we asked to move a bit further away from the table next to us as the pub wasnt too busy so we could be more distant (COVID) and the gentleman was more than happy to help and move us. The menu wasnt huge, no steaks or anything, but we all managed to find something we liked. Kids meals weren't on the menu but when i ordered he said we can do kids size which was perfect. The photos on Google made it look much more appealing than in person.

Very weird vibe inside, very dark and looking a little on the run down side.

Cool solo guitarist and singer playing which was nice.

Benches out front could do with a little pressure wash and re staining to make it look more inviting to visit and sit down at.

Lovely local pub, great atmosphere, the staff are always welcoming and friendly. As a local group of friends, we occasionally spend the evening in there, we have always had a good night.
