RUDE! And before the owner of this place wants to harp back like previous reviews, read this part carefully.

My daughter who is 16 walked in to order 30mins before closing one day (can't remember what day it was) to be greeted with 'WE'RE CLOSED GET OUT''. Please don't try to insult me by saying this is a lie or try to pass it off, I was outside and heard you! Poor excuse for a business to be treated like this. I pass this place often and heard many things said by the staff here including about customers. Disgusting attitude this place has.

There is no point giving me your email as I really don't wish to talk to any of you, no matter how many empty sorry or attempts to correct this won't make a blind bit of difference to me, heard way too much now! Remember that open doors, windows, the sound travels outside.

I personally went in once before and didn't enjoy what was offered (takeaway) hence why when my 16 year old daughter wanted to try there I didn't want anything. Over priced basic food done in a poor way. The William around the corner is much nicer and worth the money, which is where my money is spent for lunches out.

BTW seen your ad for staff and your use of capitals, rest assured we won't bother you after reading that too, wow is all really I can say. Warmly greet customers?? Don't make me laugh. Out of all the job ads I seen on this site yours did stand out for being shouty and rude way above anyone...

When you're in a hurry and you need a healthy snack, a delicious sandwich or a perfectly made coffe , or when you need to sit down, relax, read a book, check your emails, or you just want to unwind and have a lovely chat...Emily's is THE place to go!!! With their passion for "almost healthy "food, they are rocking it... you won't find anything fake and nasty here. Everything is fresh and prepared daily... they are making you a sandwich then and there, and if you fancy goats cheese over Camembert...or spinach over the rocket salad, it's absolutely fine !! they won't complain, they'll be super happy to make it for you!! Even put some extra fruit or a little thy thing on a side!! Dreaming of a relaxing coffe in a lovely garden, with fresh flowers, wisterias, cushions and blanket that's in the city...??they've got it all..and it's...MAGICAL... want to sit down Ina cosy chair or in front of the table looking outside the window...it's there... Favourites... try brownies..., try coffee..try chai latte... try the BEST sandwiches on a fantastic crunchy bread...salad?!! Yes please!! Healthy and funky soup?! Yesss.... Think of a Scandinavian charm, married with magical yet airy, beautiful space..where things are perfectly arranged, the FOOD is fantastic...the COFFEE smells great, and when the owners and staff is ALWAYS happy to see you... and where they'll great you with a SMILE!!! Emily's... the...

Such a beautiful little cafe. Google recommended this to me so drove into Truro on the way back to Somerset just to go here and definitely worth the detour! The food is delicious, the cafe is more healthy eating vibe with lots of different varieties of salads. However, there are plenty of options on the menu (e.g sausage rolls) for any fussy eaters you might go with so works for everyone! The food is so flavoursome, I often go to healthy eating cafes and they go overboard with the different spices/ingredients which overpower dishes but the food here had a perfect combination of unusual ingredients without being wild. I had the pastrami bagel which came with a lovely salad with lovely salad dressing. I had the homemade lemonade which was amazingly refreshing on a summers day and also the chocolate brownie and ice-cream which was so yummy. The girls working there were so sweet and lovely. They seemed all to be happy there which gave a happy aura to the cafe. They also gave you 10% off in the shop across the road which is a really smart incentive as I went straight over and got some chutney! I sat outside the cafe and it was a lovely garden atmosphere with lots of other people eating alone in companionable silence, it was such a peaceful environment. I couldn't recommend the cafe enough if you are passing through or looking for a...

I come here maybe three or four times a year as I don't live near Truro, but this place makes the most beautiful pancakes, and they truly are a filling treat. The staff are so friendly and helpful with dietary requirements and the seating area is lovely. There are seating areas indoors and outdoors, open (as far as I know) all year round, so if you book a table outside in the cooler/cold months, wrap up warm. Highly recommended that you book a table in advance, so as not to face disappointment if you just roll up and hope for the best in getting a table, as it is a very popular café in Truro! Don't believe me? Check the line outside the café before they open in the mornings! Highly recommend visiting here for a fantastic food experience.
