I popped in to scout it out for a show I'm attending soon. I was nearby, so I took the opportunity to find the Brewery Arts Centre in daylight as it'll be a dark evening when I attend. It took a few trips around the block to find the entrance, but I made it. I've sussed the car parking and found the entrance and theatre I'm going to. I also checked out the bar and restaurant along with the options available for booking a table and food. It would have been rude to have not sought refuge from the traditional Lake District down poor and the hoolie blowing outside. So, it's time for a cheese scone, Earl Grey tea, and a flapjack. That'll save me dealing with food later! All the staff that helped answer my questions, look at menus, and find my way around were superb. The facilities are brilliant and fully accessible. It's just off the A6 and M6, so I'm ready to roll. I'm more excited than ever to see my first show here now. Thanks, everyone!

A great spot in Kendal! The food was delicious, beautifully presented & served quickly. The Inasal chicken skewers were a real highlight for me. It was absolutely delicious! The place has a lovely atmosphere. Service was good though it could improve slightly by offering the drinks menu before taking orders. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kendal. 🥰

Couldn't quite make up my mind about this place: is it a restaurant or intended for bar food, is it ok just to have a beer, smart or casual or all of these things? Pleasant enough and glad I popped in one Saturday afternoon in February. Young lad behind the bar recommended a nice dark ale for me. There were a lot of staff dashing about 🤔

Brewery Arts is an absolute gem in Kendal – creative, welcoming, and full of character. You can easily spend hours here, whether you're grabbing a bite, catching a film, or just soaking in the artsy atmosphere. The café and bar area are great for a chill drink or pre-cinema meal.

Went to watch a film in Screen 2 – really comfortable seats, clear picture, and great sound. It’s a smaller screen, but that just made it feel more intimate and personal. Much nicer vibe than a big chain cinema.

Staff were lovely and everything was well-organised. Honestly, places like this make you love local culture even more. Will definitely be back. IG...

We just called in here for a pit stop drink after a lovely afternoon mooching around Kendal exploring its fabulous food shopping opportunities and its plethora of 'yards' and historical buildings. The service was really commendable, and the menu and food looked mouthwateringly gorgeous. We have tickets for events coming up soon, so we will definitely be booking a pre-show table based on what we saw sitting on a comfy sofa just enjoying a late afternoon Aperol! It was really lovely of one of the theatre staff to come outside to chat to us about what was on and to ask if we'd had a nice day! Unexpected but...
