Burger Daddy BBQ Smokehouse — Restaurant in England

I visited the High Wycombe branch on 25/04/2024 and got two April Box meals, which I found to be below expectation and satisfaction for a variety of reasons, which I contacted Burger Daddy about via email, providing them with proof of purchase and the relevant details.

In addition to my experience on the day, I was left no feeling great at all, and since their food was the only thing I ate, and given that my friend and I were both feeling the same after, it's safe to assume that the food may have been the cause.

Having contacted Burger Daddy, I received a response whereby their only defence in relation to my claims about feeling unwell were that no one else had complained. This does NOT invalidate my claims.

Also, they failed to address any of the other points in my email about the quality of their food and their misrepresentations thereof through their social media posts.

Rather than showing me and my friend the courtesy of replying to my email, they opted for the cowards way out, which was to ignore me. This is a far cry from the persona portrayed on social media and leads me to suspect they don't value their customers.

Instead of viewing my email as an opportunity for growth, they displayed arrogance and fragility of ego.

I will now escalate the matter to the relevant bodies, but just wanted to warn others of what they may encounter if they opt to visit this...

Burger Daddy has alot going for it: *It has an on trend, chilled vibe. *The staff are friendly, polite, fast and professional. *The food is cooked fresh, from scratch and with high quality ingredients. *The menu caters for all budgets and you could easily get an affordable meal for the whole family. We love this place as the menus are always updated with some new and exciting flavours for your tastebuds. *Also, parking is easy as the Bridge street parking is only a few meters away. *And, if you feel like ditching your car, Burger Daddy is positioned right at the bus station.

As a family, we have bee to Burger Daddy a few times. We usually eat dinner before 6pm. But today we arrived after 7 for dinner and were super hungry. What an absolute delight to receive our food at the table, 10 minutes after arrival. Wow! We were so impressed!

My current favourite is the Smoked Brisket served with pickles and coleslaw. Tonight, I ordered the rice with my brisket. I could eat this meal everyday of the week! My daughter ordered the Pitmaster Boss (brisket loaded fries) and it was delish! We struggled to finish our food towards the end as the portions were quite generous.

All in all, it's great place to enjoy an affordable and tasty meal with friends and...

Really, really good food, but delivery just takes too long and I feel like they just fob you off on the phone to get rid of you. I have used them twice, but never again unfortunately.

My first experience a few weeks ago: 60 minute estimate for delivery is long enough, but acceptable at peak time, but after 90 minutes I called up and just got the usual "the driver has just left". After 120 minutes I called again, "the driver was delayed he's on his way", then finally another 30 minutes later he arrived. 2.5 hours after I had ordered! The food was delicious, just not worth the massive wait.

I thought I'd give them a second chance the other day, but I had an almost identical experience. Except this time I only waited 2hours and 20 mins with a 50-60 minute estimate. Again I called and was just told it's on it's way blah blah blah.

Again, the burger was delicious, but the chips were only just warm. No means of compensation either on both occasions, which just shows that they're not really bothered, and it's extra cheeky to charge £3-5 for delivery when you have to wait for so long though.
