PizzaExpress — Restaurant in England

Horrible experience! The waiter that served us was not trained was brand new and didnt know what she was doing according to the manager on shift. Our dough balls were the wrong ones but the manager handed it well took it back came with the correct ones and an extra portion free as an apology. The real issue was the pizza it was completely raw in the middle when cutting it tuned in to goop and was completely transparent. We told a waiter she took it back and said as loud as possible she saying its raw in the middle and the kitchen lost it they were shouting at the top of their lungs swearing then yelling in a different language. The same pizza came back to me after being put back in the oven still raw I was still quite upset from how they reacted and had an anxiety attack at the table the manager took it back got a new one that we took away as I was crying at the table from the things the chefs were yelling about me in the kitchen. Went in for a meal with my boyfriend and enjoyed the experience. The table setting is good and the place is welcoming. The lady who served us Tina showed 5* customer service and even made some recommendations as I was struggling to choose a Pizza with so many choices. Tina also made sure we were happy with everything. I have to also say well done to the chef as the Pizza was delicious and came quickly. I thought Pizza express Pizza were those hard tiny pizza's but I was wrong! The price is also affordable and there is promotions with the app. I just find it bad that if your eating with someone else you can only choose one pizza in the promotion of £8. I think they should change this as it is not at all fair. It should put a limit of one pizza per person at least! extremely slow service. After being sat we waited 10 mins before I asked someone to come take our order. Then to be told that even though the menu says they do gluten free Romane bases. They in fact "dont know why it says it because we never have it". Food came out quick and was nice. My son got a different base to what was ordered but no complaints there was still tasty. After our plates were cleared we didn't get offered any dessert menus or anything else and after 35 mins I asked someone for the bill. We weren't in a rush but still all the waitresses were just standing by the kitchen pass chatting away. They were quick enough to come over with the pdq machine though.
