Café Continental — Restaurant in England

Found this little gem of a place heading to the golden mile had breakfast (fantastic hot placed nice on plates ) noticed the specials boards outside after only having breakfast a few items caught our eye was already awaiting dinner.said we would be back the owner gave us his number so we could ring him if we couldn't find it again (he normally close around 4pm) but said he would stay open if we did return.we rang him and said we were on our way he stayed open extra time to serve us and again our specials of the day and various meals from menu where just as good as breakfast .we will return again on our next trip to Blackpool along with the other attractions of Blackpool thi s is...

Went last saturday 2nd dec. It was freezing in the cafe, as you spoke you could see the air from your breath. Ordered 2 breakfasts. Toast was cold..not even warm, had to remind the waitress of the bread and butter we ordered, no orange juice as per the menu that was sposed to come with the breakfasts. Just 2 other tables and both tables the waitress got there orderes wrong. I cant imagine what they do when its busy. All in all, our breakfasts were ok, food was served warm as it should be, but would not return, i dont like eating with my coat on...and a waitress thats on the ball mite be...

After our booking was cancelled for 12 of us at another place, we were wandering for a while looking for somewhere to eat. We we were out for the day with family and friends to commemorate my step dad passing of covid a year ago. Although this cafe was closing at 5, the manager very kindly allowed us to sit and eat there beyond 5pm. We were extremely grateful, as this allowed us a chance to sit somewhere quiet and catch up with each other. Something that was really appreciated so thank you so much. You made a sad and stressful day a little easier for us. Great food, great prices and...
