Cafe Nostra — Restaurant in England

My Wife and I went here today whilst visiting Wells as the other cafés seemed full up by the cathedral and we wanted to go to a quieter part of town. We were served by a sweet and pleasant girl who provided excellent service with a smile. The food was tasty and nicely done (the Italian way), the drinks selection was great (my wife had a Chinò flavour Sanpellegrino which we've not seen before, a bitter orange taste) and all was reasonably priced. We also took home a brownie and a banana choc chip cake which were very tasty (I'm a big fan of banana cake).

Overall, we'd happily come here again if we find ourselves in Wells on...

Called in out of the cold in December, admittedly it was 14:30 but run out of soup and jacket potatoes, essential good warm food. settled on toasted sandwiches, no ham but never mind, quality ok but nothing to write home about and possibly the smallest of small hot chocolate’s I have ever seen. Great find! A little Italian café and deli 🙌 in the heart of Wells. In- and outside seating. It stocks all sorts of store cupboard Italian goods. Only shame is that it doesn't offer any pasta or Italian-inspired lunches, very much omelette/baked potato/classic English dishes kind of place except for maybe toasted panini/ciabatta with various fillings.
