Sometimes 5 Star reviews come across as gushing and a single visit that went well.
So this is after my second visit on consecutive nights.
First night was solo as my partner was working, chicken tikka pakora and naga chicken.
The naga chicken stood out, so rich, flavourful, lovely spice hit. So impressed.
So, the next evening when my partner was free, we both went - at my insistance.
Another exceptional meal, and once again, for me the naga chicken delivered. My partner loved her dishes. This time we had the garlic naan bread aswell and both were superb.
I work in blandford forum and live in mid Wales, and I would happily make a detour for this restaurant on my way home for a bite to eat. It's that good - if you knew the roads you have the travel between the two, you could really understand how good I think it is.

We did not make any bookings and it was raining at the time. The restaurant is upstairs, but we managed to park our pram in the small porch downstairs of the restaurant.
Staff was very friendly and attentive. They prepared a high chair for our baby and able to accommodate table for 4 adults whilst having a big group of customers at the main room of the restaurant. The service was excellent! They got our orders prepared very quickly and to our surprised the food was plenty. All their biryani comes with vegetable curry. That's why our table was full. The food was delicious and we definitely recommend this to all our friends and family when visiting Wells.
They also have toilet facilities for gents and ladies on the second floor. Unfortunately, they only have 1 cubicle each so you may have to queue...
