Daniels & Co Sandwich Bar Cafe — Restaurant in England

We used Daniels for my daughters 5th birthday party. The food was delivered on time, in abundance and hot where necessary. It was competitively priced and had finishing touches to the presentation that was above and beyond what I had requested. It was a hit all round and we have already booked them in for my sons 3rd birthday! We had children's: Pizza, sandwiches, sausage rolls and hot chicken nuggets. Adults: Pizza, Sandwiches (different to childrens) and sausage rolls. The food comes it brown presentation boxes that are able to go straight out on the table making life easy.

We returned to Daniels after many years, only to see the original owners back. We were greeted warmly by all the staff with the owner possibly recognising us! Husband's standard breakfast was amazing! He honestly thought he'd been served the large one! My tuna jacket was great~beautifully cooked with lovely fresh salad and a bowl of tuna that in other places would have served 4! Almost 7pm & we're still stuffed. Been here a few times, always really good food, good value and good service, but not today. We ordered a lunch dish at the price shown on the wall. When we came to pay, the woman said it was £1 more, as in the menu, and for some reason ignored our pointing out that it was less on the prices on the wall. She argued with us and in the end begrudgingly reduced the bill to what it should have been. No thank you or goodbye given to us. Our lunch was very good. But you spoilt our day; you need to sort your business out so you don’t have a dish at differing prices. Otherwise people might think they are being ripped...
