Caffè Nero — Restaurant in England

Overcharged - Ordered two capachinos, they whirled away to make it but asked for payment, fair enough, paid. Coffee arrived, they asked for payment again. I said I already paid, they said it didn't go through. I said the card reader beeped. They checked and said it didn't. Ok, give them the benefit of doubt, paid again, told them I'll check afterwards. Checked, and yes I paid twice. Went back inside of 30s, showed payed twice, got refunded, fair play. Now my query is, was this a genuine mistake, or a scam Nero? You can see if payment went through for two coffees on your readouts easily. But they were adamant it hadn't. I'm unwilling to give you the benefit of doubt this time Nero. So when it's busy and you are asked to pay twice, I'd check if I was you, or go to another coffee shop, or it was just a mistake by two people at the same...

It's not only about the taste, and to be clear the coffee/hot chocolate was very good, it's also about the overall experience. This coffee shop was very loud with cups being cleaned next to the coffee making stations. It was so loud that the cashier could not hear what I'm trying to order. After that I received not exactly what was ordered. For places like this I'd normally go to sit and while enjoying my coffee do some work or reading or have a conversation with someone, but that wouldn't be possible when so loud. Additionally, the toilets are out of order and everyone needs to use the disabled toilet which is not...

A large Caffé Nero's ideally situated in the very historical City of Wells that has plenty of indoor seating, that sell a good range of hot & cold beverages, as well as hot & cold savories plus delicious cakes, I ordered a flat white from the very friendly server which was made to perfection.
