A Culinary Delight: Exceptional Dining Experience I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chef and Spice for a family function, and I must say, it was an experience to remember. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the stage for what turned out to be a culinary journey beyond expectation. The food at Chef and Spice was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish was crafted with care and attention to detail, resulting in flavors that danced on the palate. The starters, in particular, were a highlight of the evening. The chicken starter, in all its glory, stood out with its perfect seasoning and tantalising texture. Every bite was a revelation, leaving me eager for more. Moving on to the main course, the curries were simply divine. The tender meat, bathed in rich, flavorful sauces, was a testament to the chef's expertise. Each curry boasted a unique blend of spices that elevated the dish to new heights. And let's not forget about the side dishes and accompaniments, which complemented the mains perfectly, adding depth and variety to the meal. But beyond the exquisite food, what truly set Chef and Spice apart was the impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met, making us feel welcome and valued throughout the evening. Their attentiveness and professionalism added an extra layer of enjoyment to an already memorable dining experience. In conclusion, my visit to Chef and Spice was nothing short of a culinary delight. From the mouthwatering starters to the sumptuous main courses, every aspect of the meal was executed with precision and flair. If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience that tantalises the taste buds and leaves you craving more, look no further than Chef and Spice cannot recommend it highly enough. Please note: The dishes were cooked specially for our function.

Variety and Quality: The buffet-style restaurant features a wide range of dishes from different cuisines, including Indian, Chinese,British and Italian. The freshness and quality of the food, highlighted the vibrant flavors and well-prepared dishes. The staff at Chef and Spice are friendly and provide attentive service. We appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and the efficiency with which the staff manage the busy restaurant. Ambiance: The restaurant's interior is modern and clean, creating a pleasant dining environment. The spacious layout accommodates large groups, making it a popular choice for family gatherings and celebrations. extensive variety of dishes available at the buffet. The live counter of stir fry was a disaster the cook was making an unpalatable scramble - tried twice but both preparations were horrible . The Doner wrap counter was inoperative . Some standout items included the chicken jhalfrezi, lamb curry, Goan fish curry, chicken wings and various vegetarian options such as pakoras and samosas . The dessert section had a nice variety including a chocolate fountain - brownies and Indian deserts freshly made

I came here with some friends to celebrate a birthday recently. My friend brought us here as he loves this place, he would only take us to food places that were good. We hadn't booked but as his wife knew the owner we were given a table straight away. Being a Saturday evening you would definitely need to book. The food is buffet so I took a wonder and checked out the starters and mains options. There was so much choice for both vegetarians and meat eaters so I sampled food from both. The food had so much taste and tasted fresh. There was a station where you could choose to have chicken, lamb or beef grilled and you could add your own flavour of sauce/hotness. The desert choices were plentiful and the they were very tasty. The food was so filling, I wanted to eat more but I just couldn't. I'll definitely be coming back for more.

I went to check out the lunch time buffet the environment and the service was good. but I was very disappointed with the food and a non alcoholic virgin mojito costs £ 6.50, which is not included in the buffet.. the starters onion bhajji and samosa was tasteless chilli chicken was sweet, in the main course the tandoori roti was good but everything after that was a mess both the lamb gravy and other lamb dish was not cooked properly I felt the meat was rubbery and needed to be more tender. With this experience I did venture into the main course anymore. I just started with the desert in which the fruit salad and icecream were good, kids would love the chocolate fountain and marshmallows. but rest nothing was exceptionally delicious or noticeable. In total the restaurant gets a respectable 5 out of 10 in total.

RECOMMEND SECOND VISIT 2022 Still a great buffet. Went on a busy Saturday night - added to the atmosphere - dishes all refilled regularly. Used stir fry this time - wonderful taste. Also recommend spicy chicken starter. A bit expensive at £22 but worth it for the quality and variety. Need another excuse to visit Leicester just to come back here !! FIRST VISIT 2021 Good range of dishes - all warm, good quality and topped up when needed. Good atmoshpere / fit out (like a good restuarant, rather then the cafe feel some buffets have) Popadoms and dips available to start Good range of deserts including ice cream and chocolate sauce fountain. Great apple crumble and custard - good cinammon taste Easy car park behind the restuarant Friendly staff.

My fourth visit here since I started visiting once to twice yearly from Sheffield. A smallish but succulent range of curry dishes and also love the stir fry bar wherein the plateful you choose is cooked while you wait, allowing you a few minutes to familiarise yourself further with the choice around you. Also had to mention the ice cream counter, similar to a place I used to visit in Leeds which I enjoyed multiple trips to at the end of my evening. Nothing any trouble for the staff and the drink service was faster than expected for the more busier part of the day. I recommend this place to anyone who I know is planning a visit to Leicester...or lives there and is yet to know about it. Keep the work up, Chef and Spice guys
