I don't usually sit down to write reviews, but felt somewhat compelled to after such a fantastic experience. We went to eat at this amazing restaurant and all had a wonderful experience.
The restaurant benefits from a large visible on site charcoal grill and Turkish Tandir which forms part of their "Open Kitchen" style set up for an authentic cuisine experience.
The decor throughout really takes one back...to Old Antalya - literally in time. In addition to this, the friendly staff were such a delight.... a Turkish Delight to say the least! The restaurant is CLEAN which is very important, plus the open Kitchen adds to the cleanliness feel of their restaurant as the cooking is done in front of you.
Good quality HMC food with generous portions. To be honest many places we've eaten at we've enjoyed the food but had upset stomaches the next day, but Antalya Mezze is clean and quality. I'd highly recommend their Chicken Shish, Lamb Shish, Spicy Chicken Shish, Adana Kebab, Chicken Beyti, Chicken Wings & Meze. They also spoiled us with complimentary Turkish bread which went well with our Meze cold starters, highly recommend Patlican Soslu (fried aubergine in some typa mild tomato sauce)!!!
They serve many types of beverages - we tried the non-alcoholic Mojito which was soaked in mint leaves, and what a refreshing one it was! If this was our local restaurant, we would be making regular visits here for sure.
To finish our meal off, we went for a chocolate fudge cake with ice cream, sprinked with crushed pistachios. Words cannot do justice to the taste, full of richness, crumbly but also soft, the blend of a nice sponge cake with ice cream always drops well. They didn't do English tea, however they had other alternatives such as Earl Grey, Turkish coffee (which the presentation was more fascinating than the drink itself) and Turkish tea was also an option which went down well. Kids enjoyed it, never actually seen them all gobble up so much which says a lot.
This restaurant benefits from a conveniently located prayer room mainly used for staff and sisters as their is a mosque nearby. Whudu facility in toilet area which also had a lota! Lota? Yes lota, those who know, know. And those who don't.... well wait until lockdown. Its those finishing touches that make a restaurant stand out from the rest.
Great all round experience from start to being seen out by their amazing staff with greets and smiles all round!
Well done guys, keep the good work up. If this is what Antalya was all about, I'll save myself a plane journey and come straight to yours!

Β Β Β Read moreWe went into Antalya this afternoon for lunch. There were 6 of us (2 adults & 4 children). We were greeted in the most welcoming manner and shown a perfect seating area (my daughter and I wear a veil).
We were greeted and served by Miz, he was respectful, professional and his customer service was impeccable, we felt so relaxed and comfortable.
I hadn't been here before so we asked Miz what was the best thing to get for a family of 6, Miz suggested we ordered the family platter for 4 people and he was very confident about it π, I'm not going to lie I was feeling a little doubtful so we ordered a chicken shawarma wrap with chips as an extra.
The starters were served, the cold meze selection (4 meze with a complementary extra 1) delicious fresh bread, it was amazing. Enough to keep us going until the mains came along.
The mains πππ, oh my gosh - Stunning. Freshly cooked meats on a bed of rice with chargrilled peppers, onions and chillies.
Miz was absolutely correct, the platter for 4 was ample. The servings are very very generous and cooked to perfection, seriously delicious. Fresh salad was served with the mains
The chicken shawarma wrap was just as delicious, served with chunky chips
By the end of the meal we were stuffed. We really really enjoyed every mouthful.
After our lunch we were served complimentary Turkish tea!! Served with a wafer, turkish delight and a sugar lump!! βΊοΈ
My husband ordered a really nice special Turkish coffee and it had an deep taste with a slight nutty after taste (we are coffee lovers π€).
We also ordered the Turkish rice pudding and again this was divine, definitely on the sweeter side, but delicious and creamy nonetheless.
Children had an amazing time, Miz took the time to have a chat with them as well as giving the children lollipops and yummy sweets π.
Not at any time were we rushed to eat or constantly being hovered around checking if we'd finished. It was such a relaxed and calming afternoon/lunch.
If you're considering visiting Antalya Restaurant guys, seriously don't think twice. This place is just amazing and I don't feel it's given much credit. I've been to a few Turkish places and today I've honestly found my go to Turkish restaurant.
Nothing beats the amazing food, the atmosphere, the generous portion sizes, the staff and most importantly the next to nothing customer service.
Thank You to Miz and all the wonderful staff at Antalya βΊοΈ.
We really look forward to seeing you all again very soon.

As it was a promotional discount the for a chicken platter for two it was over 60% less then the marked price.. The attended king of all times was trying to check the price in front of us repeatedly.. When he had nothing to do with.. All needed was the barcode to scan.. All of a sudden the attitude of the young attended changed..
He asked us to pick two appetiser from the menu.. We picked and after a long wait he just turned up with a random appetiser it can't be a blunt mistake.. He didn't had the curtsey to say what he got.
Second we asked for a drink and tap water.. It took this busy man to get just water and drink over 25 min thought the whole restaurant was empty.. With just 4 tables occupied.
We asked for additional Bread refill which was always does as a courtesy as main course can take a while some time... But this time was told it will be an extra Β£1.75 for second round of bread refill.. Which we agreed but still took a long wait to come..
Lastly and the worst part was we had some left over which we aske for a takeaway which the attended said will change additional Β£3.00pounds for a takeaway container and he was very rude.. He could have been polite and made some adjustments then what we saw I could not believe in my eyes the table behind us ask for a takeaway box and he was offered the box straight away with no questions asked..
They didn't even bother to ask for the courtesy tea. Which is offered as free standard in Turkish places though this offering was valid for other tables.
So finally what my discovery was if you turn up using there groupon code there behaviour has changed they have treated us as second class citizen... Which is not acceptable in this country.. Which was really humiliation and hard to accept. Which we never saw earlier..
We have been to many superior turkish places the only reason to turn up in this place was they run groupon promotions. And the food was alright compared to the price.
Looks like they don't care to treat equally with there promotion customer.
So please stop running promotion if you really don't care around these promotion.
I am not going to this place again I will also never recommended my family friends and colleagues to every turn up in...
