Unable to get the Trashy Tray which is the reason we went there! On arrival we were told it would be a 45 minute wait for food which we accepted and sat down as we thought we would order drinks while we wait. A waitress came to take our order and we ordered the trashy tray and they said they were unable to do this as they have too many orders going out for delivery and in the restaurant and she had to come back to take my order as I had to change what I wanted. We ordered a burger each and loaded fries and 2 drinks (no draught beer available as they said they recently opened and hadnβt put in their kegs yet). When they brought over the drinks minutes later, the waitress said the kitchen rush had died down now and our food should be out much sooner. I asked if we can now switch over to the trashy tray as we ordered the same thing (except for the extras you get - 3 chicken tenders topped with fresh chillies and sesame seeds drizzled in Korean BBQ sauce. 6 chunky deep-fried halloumi, drizzled with pomegranate molasses & garlic mayo and a large milkshake!) which they said would now be available. She went in the back to ask and came back saying No itβs not possible as the order had been put in already and it cannot be changed. (minutes ago). We ended up paying more and getting less. Itβs a shame as the food and service from the waiters/waitresses were really good and they were very nice and pleasant. Seems like better management and customer management is needed. Better to stay at home and order or go somewhere where the customer is appreciated as it should not cost the customer!

Absolutely rubbish! thought I'd try this place after hearing good things about it. Took hour and half to get here (ok it's Friday, fair enough. Probably busy, I don't mind the wait thinking the food will be worth it Nope!! Burger: was dry as an old flip flop! also looked like someone stood on it before sticking it in the box half of the patty was hanging out the burger like it was escaping to get some water it was that dry. Chicken Tenders: Β£5 for 3 teeny tiny tenders with a drop of sauce and bits of chilli on it, 2 were over cooked and like nawing on a dog chew. BUT....1 seems to have made it out alive and tasted ok but it was literally one bite.. should be called extra mini chicken tenders. I normally get burger from Burger King to be honest I thought let's try a proper burger place like C&B. What a mistake that was!! Do yourself a favour and don't order burgers from here if you're a burger fan order for from BK or date I said McDonald's. least you know what you're getting and for half the price. Chuck and Blade is way overrated!!

The food at Chuck and Blade is excellent. The restaurant makes its own burgers and uses the smash down method to cook them giving a nice crispiness on the edges with a juicy and succulent centre. They have some creative burgers with all kinds of fillings, toppings and sauces. Most have two patties but are available with a single patty. I actually went for a chicken thigh burger called the "Cluck Norris" you can see it in all it's glory in the photos and short video I have posted. As well as burgers, they have the most amazing shakes, they have cocktails and desserts. I will post these next time I visit. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, music is on but not too loud. I found the staff pleasant, they checked back on us and offered further drinks. Chuck and Blade have expanded and have a restaurant in Canterbury and recently opened another in Tunbridge Wells which I am yet to visit. It is possible to order food for delivery on one of the main food ordering services ( Justeat,Uber eats,Deliveroo) I'm not 100 percent sure which ones.

Fantastic! Discovered this place by chance during a work trip. Seriously the best burger I have eaten in years, with a huge portion of delicious rosemary salted fries and a pot of cheese to die for. Thank god I don't live near here or I would be in every day. *Several months later* A second visit to Rochester means a second visit to this fantastic little restaurant. Arrived before the evening rush and was seated and served instantly. Friendly staff and excellent food. Only one complaint... no WiFi, or rather as I was told when I asked for the WiFi details. "Yes, we have WiFi but not for customers"!!! In an area with such poor cellular signal having working free customer WiFi would seem like a good addition. I will be back but next time will bring a book π

I am simply blown away at how amazing this place was today. My Son got married & just had a simple registry office wedding, less than a week ago we found this place. They did not let us down. Rachel the lady Serving us, went beyond her job & definitely went that extra mile for us all! She put candles out on the table, got a table for the cake, gave my son & his wife a glass of Champagne. She let us choose the music. All the staff were so friendly, so welcoming & fun. The food was on another level. Iβm not normally a fan of burgers but these were so Delicious. We π― will be back. I want to thank Rachel & all the Staff for making my Son & daughter in laws wedding day even more special than we imagined it being!! I can not give you enough stars ππππππππππππ
