Derby Grill — Restaurant in England

Long time orderer here and I am disgusted with the service from what was a normally good option for ordering. After we placed a order for some kebabs and a pizza the order arrived incorrect and cold on top of that. We called the store immediately and was told to call back instead of seeing to the issue.

After calling back we were left to argue with the store about it being too busy to assure any kind of quality control and had the arrogance to tell us to just microwave a meal we have paid for. After a long discussion we were told they would re-deliver the cold order and moments after the call ended.. we received an email informing us to pay for it again or they wouldn't deliver the order.

There attitude is disgraceful and a horrible example of how a business should be run and there approach to quality control and objection handling is abysmal. We were long time customers and have spent several hundred pounds on orders over our time ordering and they would prefer to keep a fiver for what I can only assume is unhindered greed than retain any custom from a regular.

I've been put off from ordering due to negative reviews for some time but tonight thought I'd just give it a go

So I'm specifically looking for freshly grilled chicken and lamb on the skewer over a flame grill. Something I used to get at TJs in Leicester many moons ago. The key elements for me is never old meat sitting in a bain Marie and the option for grilled onions and peppers.

So here's what you get. The most succulent, delicious and perfectly barbecued chicken and lamb straight off the skewer. Perfectly marinated and cooked fresh. The option of grilled peppers and onions and absolutely incredibly delicious barbecued mushrooms for just only £2 extra. The naan bread was soft and delicious and perfectly crisp on the outside. Generous portion of salad and delicious. Slightly crispy but perfectly pickled peppers.

Food arrived. Piping hot and can only wait at 10 out of 10. This is by far my new favourite kebab place in Derby. We will be...

Thanks Derby Grill. Let me explain. I am in town visiting family as I grew up in Derby but live overseas. A Doner Kebab is my guilty pleasure and I try to consume them on a semi regular basis while i'm back home. Friday Night I went with a friend and had some drinks in Derby, after our last bar stop before I caught my Uber home I decided to visit your takeaway and ordered myself a Doner Kebab.

Food came quickly, I sat and ate it and while not blown away and while not at the level of 3 Chefs in Chaddesden it was OK and scratched the itch.

Then, about 9-10 hours later my fun began, I have been violently ill for about 5-6 hours and revisited your Kebab many times in the bathroom of the Airbnb I am staying in.

Really appreciate the food borne Pathogen gift you gave me for my visit back to Derby, I do appreciate it.
