Domino's Pizza - Penzance — Restaurant in England

I know not to expect the best service when going to dominos. But, this was deplorable.

I walked in to order on this occasion. After a short wait I was served. I asked for two plant based veggie Supremes with a couple of alterations. The clerk read the order back to me at which point I double checked by asking "yeah, plant based right?" To which he responded "yes". So I paid and waited the usual 20 minutes until the pizzas were ready.

I noticed they had the regular garlic dips with them rather than the vegan ones; this triggered me to check the pizzas. Lo and behold, they were both made with regular cheese. I politely pointed this out to the guy who served me to which he responded "you didn't tell me". He then said I have two options "just take them and deal with it, or wait another twenty minutes". So I waited another twenty. The clerk asked me if I wanted both plant based. I said yes. I was then asked if I wanted vegan cheese or regular cheese on my plant based pizza. I, rather confused, said "vegan cheese please". Seems obvious.

Twenty minutes later the new pizzas arrived I checked the top one and saw it was plant based. All good right? Alas not. I should have checked the bottom box because once I had returned all the way home I realised they had only made one new pizza and given me one of the first pizzas as well.

To put the cherry on top. They had torn the order label off the box and taken my receipt from me when I collected the pizzas. So now I have nothing to cite if I want money back.

Usually dominos is a safe option for easy vegan food. On this occasion...

Only giving it this score as when we ordered we where told it would be a 15 to 20mins wait which me and my Auntie said was fine. It ended up being a 55mins wait, there was a massive order they were working on but why did they inform us it would only be upto 20mins if they were going to take longer. The order screen said at 25mins that the order was ready to pick up but when I asked they said they were still waiting to put something in the oven, then it disappeared a few mins later off that screen. What's the point of that screen if it's wrong. After waiting 55mins we took our food to a beach to eat only to find one of the items was wrong, we didn't get the Chicken Strippers that we ordered we got the Chicken Knickers instead. Thank god they didn't give us spicy ones instead. I know big orders are important but maybe keep your other customers updated on their orders if they are going to be longer than you originally told them. We only got updated when we asked about our food.

On holiday in Penzance. We have ordered from this take away 3 times now. The first occasion was fine, nothing spectacular but nothing wrong either. Second time was a nightmare. We ordered at 9.45pm and needed to amend the order. I attempted to contact the restaurant 19 TIMES, ringing until it rang off each time and could not get an answer. Assuming that the place has closed-even though we had paid online-we ordered another take away with the intention to reclaim our money back next day. 11.35, we received a knock on the door with our order. We had eaten by then so sent it back. The next day, I reclaimed my order money but raised a complaint. The manager was not in so I was told he would call me later, which never happened. When I called back I was spoken to by a cocky boy who refused to give his name when asked. The next day I phoned again and spoke to Sophie, who wasn’t the manager but relief from another store. Sophie was excellent. Very apologetic and restored some of my faith in Dominos. The rest of the staff were...
