Looking for somewhere to eat that would cater for people with food allergies (Gluten Free) & found the perfect place. Greeted by a friendly team who were all happy to help, explaining how our meals could be adapted to cater for our requirements. They could just not do enough & were happily talking with us as we chose our order, as well as when bring our food to us. It was 8.45am so we ordered breakfast & drinks, it was all made & cooked fresh but with no real time delay. We sat in the window seat with the sun on us as we ate one of the nicest breakfasts in a while, washed down with tea & hot chocolate. Be careful if you visit, stay away from the cake display as it is way too tempting. Yes, after finishing our breakfast & sitting a while longer in that sun, we just had to order another round of drinks & some cake. The chocolate & prune cake plus a slice of coconut cake went down also. With well satisfied stomachs a little full, we had to walk along the main seafront to work it off. A warm welcome to a clean establishment with great food, so it's a big thank you from us to the whole team at The...

Before coming down to Penzance with my friends, through research, I knew this little cafe would be great. To start with, its name was very apt for us 3 crazy ladies! It's about a 2 minute walk from the train station, in the road directly behind it. We visited around 11.45 so we had brunch. They serve all day breakfasts, toasties, jacket potatoes, great selection of sandwiches & home-made cakes. They use as many local ingredients as possible. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The food is cooked from fresh so please be patient. The food is great value & worth the wait. Full English breakfasts are only £8 for example. Great variety of tea & coffee options, plus milkshakes. They also offer a take-away service. I bought a chocolate & prune brownie to take home, which was still beautifully fresh the next day. While waiting for your food, they have a little corner of the cafe, devoted to selling locally made gifts and produce. I bought some chutney, dog treats & a resin bookmark. Great little place,...

Food standard for a cheap cafe but was overcharged. Questioned the bill & was either charged for tap water or the waitress got it wrong as we checked again on leaving. Granted it was a mere £1- but do that to every customer & that's a lot of £1's Not happy as she insisted she was right. Small gripes... waitress wore a mask half off, I get it I work in retail, it's tough wearing one all day but seriously either wear it or don't as it's no longer obligatory. £6.95 for a toastie that's more than a jacket potato & my son didn't ask for salad or coleslaw. Too expensive we didn't look at the price so our fault but nearly £7.00 for a cheese & ham toastie ?!!! Wow was asked if I wanted salad with my jacket, said yes as it's included. It was a small pile of white cabbage & salad leaves - that's not anything. Had better red velvet cake, moist but the icing was too sweet & I've a sweet tooth. Not the best. Won't be returning Very surprised at the...

14.10.2021 ... So many friends have recommended this cafe and now I see why. Very cosy atmosphere and lovely decor with eclectic bits and bobs for sale. The hot chocolate was creamy and piping hot and the food was faultless and absolutely delicious ... a fresh crisp salad with a mouth watering toastie and the jacket potato was also beautifully presented. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely be visiting again *** EDIT 20th Oct 21. Visited again today... the jacket potato was cooked to perfection, full of cheese & mushrooms & served with a lovely salad. I'd thoroughly recommend the raspberry milkshake (except if you're on a low fat diet!😁) which was served with whipped cream, marshmallows & gummy bears. Unfortunately I couldn't eat the accompaniments as I'm vegetarian but it was a very nice touch. Good to note it's dog friendly and also has some lovely local paintings, artwork and chilli jam for sale ***
