Eds Easy Diner in Brighton truly exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel incredibly welcome. We were promptly seated and even offered a convenient space to store our pram, which was such a thoughtful touch.

What really stood out was how accommodating they were with dietary requirements. As someone needing both dairy-free and gluten-free options, it can often feel like a hassle dining out, but not here! Everything on the menu was clearly labeled, and the server went above and beyond by double-checking all our choices to ensure they met our needs. It was such a relief to feel confident in the food we were eating.

Despite a slight wait for the food (which they kindly informed us about straight away), it was more than worth it. The dishes were absolutely delicious and prepared with care. The upbeat atmosphere, combined with the team's attentive service, made the whole experience delightful.

Eds Easy Diner is a gem in Brighton, and we’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommended for families, those with dietary needs, or anyone just looking for a great meal with...

Thought we will try as it was first time, unfortunately the woman who was on duty I found to be unfriendly, first of all there was no good morning instead told my husband to stand back which my husband was stood near the greeting entrance, then instead of asking if we have been there before, she started talking about the food, before we were taken to our seat, and my husband ask if they have burgers? Her reply was what time was is it now?, for a person that works there 5 days a week her customer service was absolutely disgusting, then she ask what we wanted and I said I don't know as we haven't seen the menu yet, we didn't even have the menu in our hand or taken to our seat. So we left in the end as by this time I was not happy a customer, this was on 17th of January 2024 around 11.30am maybe she needs to be reminded why she is there in the first place, she's not there to just talk behind the counter, I could understand if it was busy but the fact that it was early and only had two customers in the whole restaurant, I expected better...

We had the chicken burgers which where great. The buns where nice and soft and not to pappy. The chicken was very nice with a good breading on it that really complemented the chicken flavour. Decent amount of salad in the burger. Unfortunately the onion rings I ordered with my food where cold and really chewy.

They have now changed the way you order so that you are sorted by a member of staff and then informed that you need to go up to the registers to order your food. Basically they have put the prices up and doing less work.

I was informed that the app no longer works with the tills even though on there website it is still advertising the app and getting points. The staff didn't seem to know what to do and just told me that they could no longer add the points and the points I had are now useless.

Last gripe.

The music in the restaurant was so loud I couldn't hear my sister across the table and eventually everyone in the restaurant was shouting over it to talk to each other makeing a...

I came here as I wanted to try their ‘Mud Pie’ milkshake. The lady with black hair, I didn’t know her name was very helpful and attentive. She explained the menu and told us we were able to pay by the QR code or at the till if we wished. Our Milkshakes were made very quickly with attention to detail. They were AMAZING. I went to use the toilet but the chef said they don’t have a toilet anymore, he was very friendly and directed me of where to go instead. I can’t believe they don’t have their juke boxes anymore! I thought that was such a shame as that’s a part of the 1950’s dinner experience! Overall, amazing milkshakes I’d come again.

Slower to get served than at a closed down restaurant. The cook (with whom I'm assuming it was her first day) was cooking each order 1 at a time although looking around loads of burgers everywhere. Cook 6 at once, maybe too difficult to do that. Each portion of chips was cooked separately, waste of time. There is no full fat coke drinks on there bottomless drinks menu and a can of coke was £3.95 with is an absolute joke. Absolute scam charging people that much for a can. There were a couple other people working but I'm pretty sure it took 3 of them to walk around in circles to make sure the other circles were correct.

I wanted to check out the diner, because it has this antique vintage look. Glass and metal cups instead of plastic. Up to the order everything was fine. And then I waited... and waited... after 20 min (remember we are talking about fast food here), I went to the counter and told them that they either give me my money back or they serve the food right now. After they put in a priority request at the kitchen I eventually got my food. Quality was average. Neither bad, nor great. From my point of view the problems are caused by bad management and organization (they do have plenty of stuff).
