Horrible and disgusting customer service. I placed an order at this restaurant via the deliveroo app at 15:15 and the app showed a delivery time of 16:05.I left for school run and was back home at 15:50.In case the driver arrives early I wrote in the instuctions to driver: leave parcel at the door. However I was back before delivery time but no food till 16:20 so I called the restaurant for an update.The driver answered the phone was extremely rude.He said he came and rang my bell multiple times and called on my mobile as well.I have no missed calls.He went ahead to say I am lying about the timings and being cheeky.Also that I should accept that the whole fiasco was my fault and I should accept it.He repeated that I am a liar 2-3 times.Absolutely disgusting behaviour and appalling customer service . Another member of staff spoke to me and apologised and said my order will come to me in 10mins.To my surprise it was the sane driver who was rude on the phone and he had the audacity to say I must accept my fault standing at the door.I wanted to mention his name here but the restaurant did not give me his name.And to add to all this,when I opened the food packet,my order was incomplete.I ordered 3 burgers as a meal and no drinks were delivered.Not just extremely rude but incompetent too. I have given one star because there is no option...

Where do I start… I ordered 2 pieces of chicken, 3 hot wings. Lamb Doner and chips and a 6oz slam dunk burger. This came to £17.30 including the £2 delivery charge!! The chicken was literally burnt to death. No moisture left in the meat. Not succulent at all. The breading hurts the roof of your mouth when you chew it. Very poor fried chicken. The Burger was the star of the show and the only item I was fully satisfied with. Although I ordered a Slam Dunk burger which is meant to include onion rings. There was no onion rings in my burger! The chips were over cooked and hard! Again cutting my mouth when I ate them. The doner meat was over cooked and hard aswell! Everything I ordered was over cooked and nearly inedible. The burger was the only saving grace. It’s a-shame because the people who run this place seem like nice friendly people but I feel they need to drastically improve their cooking skills. I don’t know if these people are so afraid of undercooking chicken that they burn it to death to kill all the bacteria while simultaneously destroying the texture and the flavour. I ordered from favourite gourmet kitchen in Bedford from just eat. The order was originally supposed to arrive within 45-60 minutes. At the 60 minute mark I received a phone call from a woman who didn't seem to understand what she should be telling me. She said she'd forgotten to.give the delivery driver our order. I said ok, how long will it take? 30 minutes she replied. An hour later it arrived. When the food turned up it was cold, congealed and soggy. We also received an incredibly spicy burger, which I didn't order. My son was in tears. My partner even said it was too hot for him ( he loves spicy). We'd spent almost £50 on food. When I asked for a refund the delivery driver offered us £5, which I said wasn't good enough. Then I received a text message saying that they will give us nothing as they'd given us extra food. It must of been invisible as I couldn't see it. After another hour I finally managed to talk to someone on the just eat live chat ( which took another hour) they would only refund the food. Not our drinks. What a joke. To top it all off the restaurant won't close the order so I can't review them...
