Irie Kitchen Bournemouth — Restaurant in England

On a trip down from London we searched and searched for decent Caribbean food and Irie Kitchen did not dissappoint. We had oxtail, stew chicken, fried chicken, rice and peas, plantain and Coleslaw. All of it was on point. The customer service was top tier. We were sceptical being so far away from home but the food was authentic with rich flavours and potion sizes were great. Please note this food is cooked to order so everything was fresh, just make sure you put your orders in. We ordered after 3pm and picked up at 7pm in time for dinner. Well all I can say is this place is EXCELLENT They provided the food for my daughters Christening I could not fault them from food to service. Food taste just like home! This is the best place for caribbean food in Bournemouth by a mile!! I'm not easily impressed coming from a family of caribbean chefs but all of our guests were very very impressed. Finally, some proper Caribbean food! Spent a bit of time travelling through Wales, Cornwall and Somerset and have been disappointed with the offerings of so called authentic food.

Then I find Irie Kitchen today! The food is exactly as it should be, flavoursome, real and authentic!

Curry chicken, stew chicken and stew oxtail, with coleslaw, all made fresh. You could smell the aromatics and saw him in Acton making the coleslaw.

It's definitely the best Caribbean food by far, just like liming on the beach in the Caribbean!
