Turkish with a Twist..
So just to inform everyone this isn’t a Turkish run restaurant but that doesn’t mean the food there isn’t good.
First of all they offer all the Turkish favourites and the portions are very generous. The grills especially the Lamb Ribs and Chops were tender and plentiful.
Now here’s a welcoming twist, the back page offered classical Bengali cuisine (not the same as typical Indian restaurant food), the bad news is you have to order it in advance and have a certain number of people.
The owners and very friendly and helpful and genuinely try to make your visit welcoming.
I feel though the restaurant could be more cosier and warm to feel totally relaxed. The rice while nice is more pulao style and I think if it was cooked plain with butter like Turkish rice that would be nicer. The mocktails while nice I feel were a tad expensive for the quantity.
Finally adding more Turkish style desserts like milk cake and rice pudding would be a welcome touch.

The restaurant across the road cost half of the price with the same quantity of food. Drinks was £2.50 each and we saw them pour it from a large drinks bottle. When we initially asked for large bottle of drink they said it was not on the menu. We all left still a bit hungry and a bill for £95 after the 20% discount....
