Turkish food is my favourite, I’ve tried a lot of places in Bedford, MK, fancy in London and even in Turkey. This is without a doubt the best Turkish food I’ve had. The meat is superb. Cooked beautifully, always go for a mixed shish and the lamb has always been chewy and fatty, and I swap it or leave it. The lamb shish is cooked to perfection. Very generous portions and everything tastes superb. Chicken shish cooked perfectly and the kofte is divine. This is our new go to after years of being loyal to one not far up the road. But the decor here is much nicer, it’s cleaner, good toilets and the staff are just wonderful. Really friendly and genuine people. And also amazing value for money in comparison. Ordered via just eat. Food was meant to come within 40 minutes. Never came. I called and a chap said cancel your order via just eat as your food has been sat here for an hour. I went in and they said they would make it all over again. I was thankful, only to get home and find a crispy lamb and chicken wrap. Crispy dry. The chilli sauce dip is from frozen as it has a slight freezer burn taste. The chicken skewers were tender, though the marinade was bland. Oh i ordered rice, but got a salad instead.Worst food I've had in a long time. Avoid the take away option. You can try eating in. The floor in front of the food counter is disgusting and unhygienic.
