This was the worst experience I have ever had in my entire dine-in life. The moment we entered the place, we were asked and rushed to what we would be ordering, without being seated or given a menu. We sat down at a table, the manager, I think his name was Mamun if I am not mistaken, came and told us that the table is big for the two of us and that we should move to the back of the place to make the table available for a 7-person group. This is while the shop was 80% empty. I told him we will move if a group of 7 came. After 5 minutes, he came and told us again to move to the back of the shop because a group of 10 people are waiting outside (whom did not even use the table we left). I asked for my Cheesecake as takeaway because I had enough of mistreatment. He put my Cheesecake slice in a takeaway box without even looking at it, hardly any strawberries and serup, which came on the sides of the cheesecake because he didn't even put it properly, and put the cheesecake upside down because he rushed through the process wanting us to leave as soon as possible. When I told him that this is not how you serve a cheesecake right after he gave me the box, he said that I put the cheesecake upside down myself 😑.. That's definitely how you serve a cheesecake and definitely how you treat customers. PS. This one slide portion and experience cost me £7.. The cheesecake tasted old. They used the microwave for...
Read moreMy first ever experience of a Kaspa's anywhere, was here last night. There was four of us in total, I was surprised the restaurant was quiet, only one other table were seated, the four of us ordered together. One drink arrived, followed by two desserts, a few minutes later two more desserts, still no sign of the other three drinks. We carried on... Still no drinks, not once did any member of staff come to check if our food was OK, or if we were OK. Bear in mind it's still quiet, only us and two other tables in total now in the whole restaurant and at least three members of staff at the counter. Well into eating half of our desserts now and we had to call a member of staff over and tell her we were missing three drinks. She just stood with a blank look on her face, like she had just got to the table and ran out of batteries. It took a few seconds for what we said to register and then she said she would go and find out, A few minutes later the three drinks arrived just as desserts were almost finished, the drinks were nothing like they were advertised, we even questioned if they were the right drinks. But at least we could now relieve our dry parched throats. As soon as the drinks were finished we then got up and headed towards the door to leave, not one member of staff even acknowledged us, smiled or said goodbye even though they were all...
Read moreThis was a pretty miserable experience. Ice cream and coffee. The coffee was OK - better than a Costa machine, not as good as McDonald's! The ice cream was apparently salted caramel. I nearly didn't order it because the tubs all looked a right mess, in a condensation filled display. It was terrible ice cream - it tasted cheap, had a hard lump of something the size of a malteser in it - no idea what that was. It also had corn husks/shells in it - really nasty. We were the only customers (Thursday lunchtime) and they only had the front lights on. To get to the toilets, I walked through darkness. The toilet I used was a mess - the toilet itself, with seat barely attached, the dirty sink and floor. Yuk. Not a complaint, but who did the tiling? Terrible - sort of thing you see on Tiktok. 5 stars for the man serving. Not his fault, and he was very friendly. I wasn't going to make his drag of a day worse by complaining about the quality of the ice cream. I hate to say this, as Bridgwater needs shops etc open in its High Street, but a dessert bar that displays barely edible desserts with no care or effort? It's tough out there. A McFlurry is cheaper, better, more hygienic... This place needs to work...
