Chinese take away that offers local delivery for free. We tried this takeaway based on its good review and we wanted to try somewhere different to where we normally go as a change and just in case we discover somewhere nicer.

The outside of this takeaway away looks a bit old fashioned but don’t judge a book by its cover as it is only the food that matters being a takeaway. The main thing is that the place is clean.

The girl that took the order over the phone spoke perfect English so it was nice, simple and stress free. Payment is cash on delivery or by credit card at the time of order. Ordering at the weekend at around 6:30, the wait is about an hour, so plan ahead and place your order in advance. The menu is extensive and the price reasonable.

The Singapore rice noodles for me was the stand out dish. It was really really nice and cooked to perfection. 10/10. The sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style was very nice also. It was tasty and the consistency was spot on. 9/10. The chicken green Thai curry was spicy and has a nice kick to it but it did not have the strong flavours that I associate with Thai green curry that I had elsewhere 6/10. The beef within the beef in black bean sauce was soft. The dish was tasty. 7/10. The free prawn crackers was of good quality. It was thick and tasted nice. I would be happy to pay for these.

So in summary, this is a very nice Chinese takeaway. I would definitely recommend the Singapore noodles and sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style. Because of the extensive menu, I will most possibly try the Korean and Malaysian dishes next time. Would I come back. Yes. Would I...

We were staying in Rockley park for a holiday and decided to have a Chinese takeaway there were a few to choose from but we decided to go for this one as it had higher ratings than the others. The lady who served us was very friendly and polite. Came back to our pod and the chicken chow mein was amazing (hubby said the best he has had) the Singapore fried rice… the chicken was lovely but the rice was very dry chips and curry sauce was delicious too. Very surprised how much food we received and how tasty 85% of it was. The other 15% was quite acceptable, but the rest really was standout. We eat out quite a lot up and down the country and Chinese takeaways are one of our regulars. This is easily in the top 5%. I only regret is it's not close to where we live, so I wonder if we'll ever get to...
