Marina's Kitchen — Restaurant in England

This place is awful! The staff are very rude and just sit outside getting drunk, smoking and swearing in front of customers and people walking by. This is very unprofessional as there could be young children around! The place is filthy inside, the cloths they hand out to customers are dirty and smell awful. I came here for a trial shift which they told me would be paid for, and then they are now refusing to pay me at all! I was only meant to be there for 1 hour and ended up staying for 4. There was nothing to do as no customers would come in which is no shock! They then harassed me to post a good review on trip advisor which I have no removed as it made me feel uncomfortable and I didn’t want people to think this is a nice place to eat! They don’t wash their hands after being outside smoking, and then they go to prepare food. They do not follow any hygiene guidelines whatsoever. Please do yourselves a favour and go to any other place along George street as it’s full of wonderful places unlike here! Worst place I have ever been. Staff were drunk and arguing. Toile was dirty, no loo paper... napkins looked dirty. It was so awful I was expecting Gordon Ramsey to walk out and to be part of Hells kitchen.... orders were forgotten then when the waitress told chef he got angry they ended up having a domestic outside in full view through the window. One person ordered a vegetarian pizza and was given spaghetti bolognase... the can of sprit was filthy had to ask for a clean one. Do not go to this place. The woman that was waiting on the table was crying saying it wasn't her fault as the chef shouted at her. You could smell the alcohol on all the staff present. My mushroom bruschetta was so burnt...there were clumps of charcoal. Just wish I'd taken photos. It was truly 0 stars for everything if that...

Very strange experience. Friend & I were looking for a hot drink, small bite to eat. Glancing at menu & we were near enough accosted by a table of people! Kinda ushered in with lots of jokes about free money. Okay, we said. Let's do this. Very friendly Italians, which was okay until it became overbearing. The lady taking our order had no idea what we were asking, took ages to finally get anywhere. The older guy kept asking if we needed anything, I asked for sugar numerous times, never came. The lady gave me 3 spoons for a breakfast! They didnt have everything for my breakfast, when I asked made jokes. Friend & I swore them or us were on acid! I paid & just wanted to leave, realised after I'd been over charged. The breakfast wasnt great & for £8 a definite no no. Wont...
