McDonald’s — Restaurant in England

Some of the problems aren't directly the stores fault as some of it is the hordes of awful youths there, that make the place very uncomfortable and antisocial. I don't know if they can do more to stop these kids hanging around outside the front in large groups and coming inside being loud and disruptive. But as well as that, when ever I order food from here it is always missing something. Dips or drinks or sometimes even whole burgers just missing, as well as cold food or squashed food. The place is just too damn stressful to go in there to change because of all the rowdy kids. I used to go to this place as a kid when there was a soft play area and you could have kids parties there with cake and balloons. Now the place is corporate and depressing with the dung coloured green on the outside and stale boring uninspired walls on the inside and with hard uncomfortable seats. I'm just going to stop going here. I hope other people do too. So it can close down and become something else. Time for this awful place to die and be renewed as almost...

I am a uber eats delivery rider and sometimes I am customer.

I totally understand the staff have a very difficult task of balancing on store customers and delivery riders and keeping both of them happy.

From a delivery rider perspective, I have to stay I feel some change happened since 5th of July 2024, staff respond friendly to orderly riders and there is wonderful balancing act of on-store customers and delivery riders ( unruly riders who make a very bad image for follow riders as well as who make the on-store customers unhaply by pushing and shaving has been told off).

When I feel I have been responded friendly and working as much as they can do, I am happy to wait however long it takes to collect the delivery without a complaint. (Before this changes, you could feel some staff working too hard and others that include some managers slacking and won't even make an eye contact)

SO SLOW!!!! Visit regularly as i work close, but it is the slowest McDonalds i have ever been to!! Having worked in hospitality for 15 years, this place is clearly not managed well. No food prep is ever done as you can tell they never have enough of anything and looks like they are always chasing their tail/playing catch up. Its vital in restaurants to have prep done! There is always so many staff just stood around wt the front! Again if managed well then those staff should be deployed into other areas such as the kitchen to help make/prepare the food which will reloeve bottle necks and waiting times etc! I cant even pop in for lunch anymore as i wait 20+ minutes just for a chicken wrap! I dont like to complain, but this is happening EVERYTIME i go in there and as a restaurant manager i would want to know if my restaurant’s performance and standards...
