Absolutely amazing, stunning produce whether it's the sourdough bread or even the butter. But even better, try the port and Stilton rarebit, tastes absolutely fantastic, I was sooooo strong not to try any of the delicious home made cakes, not sure that will happen on the next visit though. Great staff, friendly and great service, cannot fault the place, and dog friendly. Will visit again and picture/s to follow. As promised, have visited 3 or 4 times now and finally remembered to take a picture. Steak and eggs, with Chorizo rosti and a chimichurri sauce. Absolutely perfect I'm not the biggest fan of chimichurri but their's is lovely, just the right balance of herbs and a nice acidic tang that really makes the sauce so flavourful. Top notch.

Our first visit and well worth it. As soon as you walk through the door the decor, atmosphere and staff make you feel welcome. It was quite busy so we sat at two small adjoining tables and immediately one of the wait staff offered to put the tables together. The coffee is tasty. I had salad nicoise and for a change it was a real nicoise not some random leaves with stuffed thrown at it. A good amount of salmon, samphire, olives, soft sundried tomatoes, green beans, small new potatoes, soft boiled egg and baby gem lettuce with a complimentary dressing. My partner had a pastrami bagel she said was delicious. The portions were a good size. Must say, next time were in town well head for here.

Visited here on a busy Saturday with my wife and 7 week old baby. The lady who welcomed us ( I shall call her pink lipstick) was very friendly and helped us with where best to sit with our massive pram. We had some lovely hot drinks (dirty chai & hot chocolate) which were flavoursome and generous in size. For food, we both decided on halloumi with poached eggs on sourdough bread with hot honey (there was more ingredients but I can’t remember which). It was delicious - unique flavours and memorable. Would definitely go back when in the area - a 10/10 independent that are #winning in my opinion. 😊

Really lovely cafe which I’ve been to a few times and enjoyed. However I was really disappointed to find that I was told off for having a tea in my own reusable cup from home on the table, even though I’d spent money there too.

We ordered breakfast each, and a juice each, and as we had spontaneously decided to pop in for breakfast, we also had our own drinks from home. I thought that because we spent Ā£30 on their food and drink, it wouldn’t be an issue if we had a drink from home, but instead I felt like I was being told off and doing something really wrong. I did ask the lady to explain it to me , and it wasn’t her fault- but whoever made that as policy there should be a sign up to state that. I run a cafe and if people are giving us business by buying drinks etc, we would have no problem in them eating their own lunch- because at the end of the day in this climate we are choosing to spend our money there. Just disappointing and put a damper on...
