McDonald's — Restaurant in England

It's simply dismal. Every time I've used this place over the last 18 months, the food is either arriving on the end of a 30minute wait, cold and stale, has pieces missing or the holy trinity of all those failures in one order.

Tonight I gave this place it's final chance after opting, for the past couple months, to instead spend fifteen minutes driving to Wellington, joining the queues there and still getting my food in 20 minutes all together.

I arrived at the drive thru to join a queue - one car in each order point and another car behind each of those. It's been much busier than that on previous visits, but the total time from queue joining to receiving the paper bag was 30 minutes. The Toffee Latte was cold. I mean Coffee-you-made-and-forgot-about-then-realised-45-minutes-later-just-in-time-to-feel-the-world-laughing-at-you, cold. So, we handed that one back and waited in the bay in hopes to receive one of the fabled warm-enough-I-guess, beverages. While waiting, we found the bread to be stale, the burgers either luke warm or cold and the fries floppy. Some of it just simply wasn't edible (I mean, one probably COULD eat it and the only harm that could do would be dealt exclusively to your will to live, it's just why would one want to, especially when it's much cheaper just to let things go stale at home?). After that additional five minute wait, a staff member approaches with a hot drink, asking: "Are you the Toffe Lat- uh... the err.. Coffee?" I should have picked up on that little correction of hers - 'cause I think nearly completing the term "Toffee Latte" made her realise there was no toffee in it, which we of course discovered after driving off. This is a frequent issue at this outlet - both the toffeeless Toffee Lattes and and the cold stale food. Y'know that famous story of the MacDonalds burger that didn't get mouldy after being left out for a year? I think that's the type they order in wholesale, here.

I give up on this outlet. It is just a waste of time, money and faith. It's a fast food restaurant that is incredibly slow to deliver what can only charitably be referred to as food. All the while it's actually faster to take the A38 to Wellington, even on those days where you get stuck behind drivers that can only be assumed to be followers of a religion where going anywhere fast is forbidden, and join a seven-car queue on the drive through. Even on the occasion where that outlet fails to be fast, what they deliver is...

Something drastic needs change with the management of the 2 Herongate, Taunton branch. They can't get orders right and never have the full range of products available they are always out of several items every visit! It must be the worst run MD in the country! The other issue is I attend at lunch rush hour on Sunday and the drive-thru queue wasn't flowing the waiting bays weren't being used so service was painfully slow! Took my 30 minutes plus

I visit lots of your restaurants and this one is far and away the worst! The last 6 months I have not been able to visit and order what I want. They constantly run out of basic items, eggs, sausage patties the drink machines go down constantly, no sprite, no bbq sauce, plastic cutlery.

This never seems the case with other branches its rare for them to run out most. They also can't get basic orders right. The example I attend sunday 29/07/18 and have complained to the managers several times before and been given free meals. I wanted a sprite no run out. I ordered a large big tasty meal and four happy meals, 1 Nugget, 1 hamburger meal, 1 cheeseburger and chicken wrap.

Ok so was given no napkins had to ask, no bbq run out, no sprite run out asked for 1 banana shake and 1 vanilla got two banana. Had no nuggets happy meal (what I ordered) 2 cheeseburgers, 1 hamburger and 1 chicken wrap. It's like this everytime I visit order more than 1 or two meals and the staff can't cope and you have to spend 5 minutes checking every last item. I don't want free meals I just want to go and get what I ordered and them to have the full range of products. You complain they apologise offer free food but I just want it sorted now fed up or I may boycott this branch. Roadchef Taunton Deane services can run it much better!

I attended last week and had breakfast bagels with jam and soft cheese and they had run out of the plastic knifes! The food took ages with table service order was wrong I order a sausage bagel and got a bacon! I was going to cinema and had no time to get the food remade we ate and spread jam with a spoon!

SORT it out and sack the management team and...

If i could give this mcdonald’s no stars i would. 12:30am we arrived here, the inside was closed which is annoying but typical for all mcdonald’s these days. We ordered our meals and the young lad on the speaker, it must of been his first day cause he got every order wrong and the speaker was extremely quiet, we then roll up to the window to be greeted by no one. Once the lad came to window we wanted to correct our order, it took awhile, then he just walked away to what i imagine is to talk to a manager. Once we paid for our food, it came relatively quickly and the manager on the window was quite friendly. The fries were hot and salty but the cheeseburger we ordered was asked to be plain which it was HOWEVER IT CAME WITH NO CHEESE EVEN THOUGH IT IS A CHEESEBURGER. I have never had this problem with any other mcdonald’s before so why Heron Gate is different i don’t know. The burger was SO DRY and the bun was honestly stale. Then to make things worse after the 5 minute ordeal with the lad about one of big macs being completely plain with no cheese due to my lactose intolerant offspring IT CAME WITH CHEESE, WHAT IS GOING AT HERON GATE. My child then ate this burger not knowing about the cheese and he uncontrollably released his bowels but WE COULDN’T GO INSIDE TO USE THE TOLIET CAUSE IT WAS CLOSED. I will not...
