Terrible experience. Walked out in the end. We were sat for 15 minutes (not greeted or acknowledged) after this time a waitress came over to ask if we'd ordered (she was the only waitress on) we said no and that we didn't know how the establishment worked (order at counter or table service?) so she gave us a menu and told us someone would be over shortly to take our order. Another 15 minutes passed and we were not approached. We had our 1 year old son who was very hungry too. The waitress then ran out the shop, over the road to a car to her family (we assume) and brought them in, sat them down, took their orders and served their food. By this point we couldn't be bothered to wait any longer and got up and walked out. The waitress then promptly walked over to us to take our order as we got up but we could already tell this place was awful so we carried on out. Ended up going elsewhere with a prompt service and excellent food. Avoid this place unless you're happy to wait hours for food and be ignored by everyone that...
Read moreAfter catching the train down to Paignton we decided to stop for lunch before we went to the zoo and the children decided on Mo’s diner as they had wraps (my eldest a favourite). The diner was clean and tidy and had a really relaxed and friendly feeling you don’t always get as a tourist. The young lady who served us was extremely helpful polite and friendly and always had a smile On her face and looked like she genuinely enjoyed her job :) they have a fantastic range of food all reasonably priced. We had two wraps (they were jammed with fillings) that came with a nice side salad each, a cheese and beans on chips, an mos special burger and a children’s cheese burger. The portions where large and not he food was amazing. Our children are feral usually but with the quick service and attentive helpful staff they were quiet and well behaved which allowed for a lovely experience. We would love...
Read moreI never write reviews but mo's diner deserves all the praise in the world. Went today with my son who is in a wheelchair and has a learning difficulty. Nothing was too much trouble. Access into Mo's is level and the lovely waitress Kelly came straight over to assist us to find the most suitable table. This is quite a rare thing, I'm usually left struggling with extra chairs and a lack of space. The food was great...a big cooked breakfast and a jacket spud with lovely side salad. All served promptly and with such friendly service. Kelly and Alex are a real credit to the place. The way they engaged with my son was so lovely to see. We'll definitely be returning and I'm sure, like other regulars we saw in there today, they'll remember our names and faces. Mo is very friendly and courteous and the diner looks inviting and is clean. I now can't imagine going into Paignton and not...
