Nando's Hartlepool — Restaurant in England

Myself and my partner came to dine in yesterday during a day off. I don't often leave bad reviews but we were so upset with the level of service we felt like we had to. We were greeted by a very moody server so sat is down on a wet but sticky table and one menu thrown on. No explanation or any interaction really. We ordered our food on the app after having to figure it out ourselves. The food came brought by the same server who threw our food at us with a face and no interaction. Didn't ask if we needed anything to stormed off and stared at us from the front of the kitchen while we ate. My chicken so overdone and slightly charred, and the chips were stale just compromising of the ends of the bag. We both have worked in hospitality and catering our whole lives, as resteraunt manager and a chef. It's very rare we get time to have a day together and this really dampened our day. The attitude of the server actually made me feel uncomfortable and made me feel like I couldn't speak to any of the staff. Not that they gave us the chance to. We will not be returning to this nandos branch which is a shame when we struggled to find places to cater to our gluten intolerance in this town. Not ones to leave bad reviews but it did really ruin a rare...

Had food here last night with wife and kids. We where taking to our seats.we put our orders in what we wanted.me kids got chicken raps and chips so did the wife. I got the double butterfly burger.i went to the toilet no sooner I got baci from the toilet our food was on the table only about 5 mins from us ordering.my wife rap had black chicken in so she asked the manger to come over to take a look.he was a really nice guy to be honest he replaced her food. But she didn't want to eat it now but did anyways.i had mine was allrite not the best food I've had here we have been lots of times before.anyways my wife has been ill all night stomach cramps. I've been up most of the night been sick and stomach cramps my kids don't feel too got either the must of not cooked the chicken right or something because we're all not well today.my daughter has a phobia of been sick aswell she is in a right state today now all because we ate here last night. We will not be eating at this nandos branch ever again. Shame really because the staff are really nice here the must have been something wrong with the chicken ...

Showed up at 8.30 for a table for two last Friday night. Got seated within 15 minutes which is good however had to wait 45 minutes for our food to arrive. Served the starters and the mains together which wasn't ideal on the tiny table we had. Unfortunately the meal was way over cooked. Chicken wings burned so much the Nandos marinade was charred leaving the meat like leather. The butterfly chicken and 1/4 chicken ordered were overly dry too. Spicy rice was like plastic. Don't get me wrong, the staff were friendly and I feel they were doing everything they could, but the whole experience felt poorly managed and rushed. Really disappointing as the meal wasn't just poor it...
