This place is going down hill. Nando’s has slowly dropped off In service over the past couple of years. I walk in today and order as usual through the QR Code not being told of any issues and being told my the waitress that I can order as usual. I order my food along with my partner and pay online as standard and get a confirmation. 30mjn goes pass and for Nando’s this is normal as I appreciate it can be busy however I go up to queue and ask the person serving behind the till if there are any issues, I wait another 10 min in line to ask this, then finally when I ask the person behind the till she says to be that there’s an issue and wait to the side while the manager tries to sort it out. Another 5 min passes and an employee walks over to me, no one showing any care or compassion, and says oh sorry the internets down, don’t worry the money you’ve paid will go in later today your gonna have to queue up again (10+) people and order again…
Is this standard for Nando’s? I’ve just waited 50+min, not being told what’s going on having just PAID for the order and now your telling me after all that I have to queue up again for 20+ min and wait all over again.
I appreciate there are technical issues but it’s not the first time and there is no care or empathy shown by any workers no sorry no nothing, the service is terrible and Nando’s has dropped off massively to the point where McDonalds has more costumer care.

Anyway she passed the olives quite hastily to serve another customer and it wasn't busy. She didn't give me my receipt but didnt think anything of it. Went and got my drinks and as I sat down the food arrived I was like that's quite quick looked at the chicken and it looked like it had been steamed and had sauce thrown over it so I asked for it to be well done. When they came back it was cooked perfectly but they forgot my extra portion of chips the girl then proceeds to ask me for my receipt !!!! Anyway they sorted it in the end but with a helping of attitude and a whole lotta unwillingness the manager didn't even bother apologising seeing as food was sent back and by the time we ate the chips were cold because they left the peri chips out of sat on the side until I reminded them! We visited tonight a birthday treat and 20 mins later was told by an employee that they had no meat on the bone ready at all and it had just been put into the oven. She said it would take an additional 40 to 50 minutes before it was ready. We were not told this when paying (served by Chris )as we were short of time and would have eaten elsewhere where basic ingredients were ready and customer service existed. The Manager didn’t offer us a free starter to placate us so we asked for our money back. As we had paid part gift card and part credit card the Manager Chris didn’t have a clue how to refund us so in the end took our details on a piece of till roll and said we would be sent a code that we could use in a restaurant to the value . The guy was absolutely clueless and his customer service atrocious . This was meant to be a birthday celebration instead turned into a Nightmare.
