AWFUL EXPERIENCE! ARGUEMENTIVE MANAGER AND A LIAR! STAFF LACKED CUSTOMER! NEVER RETURN TO THIS STORE AGAIN.
Firstly the manager is a LAIR and told his staff to tell us that his PDQ machine wasn't working but it was clearly working as we ordered at the till with the same staff member who told us it wasn't working. (No idea why he felt the need to lie)
We ordered two adult meals and two childrens meals. My kids meals came out but it was the wrong order, we spoke to the team member and it was changed no problem. (Mistakes happen so we let it go)
Our adult meals came out, my husband food was cold and my chicken burger which was meant to be spiced HOT came out bland and not at all grilled, my portion of chips were defiantly a kids portion, garlic bread was rock hard. I called the manager over as I wasn't impressed with our food and its not the cheapest of meals. So I raised my concerns and instead of helping the situation he decided to argue with me and told me that I was in the wrong and he said that is how much sauce come with it, until I pointed out that actually half of the ingredients stated on the menu wasn't even in there. Then finally he decided to change my meal, but he thought I was dumb and he basically took the same burger away and re heated it and served the chicken back to me but put it in a another bun with the other missing bits in it. I felt like I knew he was going to do that so as a test I cut abit of the chicken at the bottom when he went to change my husbands food. So when I knew he hadn't changed my food. In end my husband demanded a refund for my food as I didn't eat it and I was upset at the way the manager spoke to me.
Then the staff member, especially the one with black hair, white, and huge amount of attitude started making comments and starring at us. Awful customer service.
The manager didnt even say sorry or ask if we was ok after our complaint.
The whole experience was Horrendous, from start to finish!
I couldn't even take pictures to upload as my battery was dead!
I will not reccomend anyone going to this nandos, I'd walked the extra bit to the Highcross one.as the manager, staff and food are much nicer.
To the manager, if you are reading this please contact your area manager for further training on management for your team and customers. From one store manager to another, your team will only behave the way you behave. If you lack in customer service skills then your staff will too. Read moreDisgusting service i received from your manager from Nandos Granby street today 18-06-22 at 22.10pm. First of all my husband made an order online for collection estimated time 22.10pm and upon my arrival i was told that they have been trying to call to let us know that they have run out of livers bit we didnt see any missed call. I then asked her if she can give me the full platter with chips only and refund me back my chicken livers and she agreed. She the went on to put 2 full chicken on the grill and she said the other one is a gesture of good will as you have travelled and for us not to have the livers. I said to her thats very kind but i dont need 2 chickens and she suggested i should put it in my fridge to eat the following day. She then spoke to my husband on the phone as my husband also didnt want the free chicken and wanted our refund back for the livers and she became very rude with attitude , bined the other chicken and cooked my chicken for 4 minutes. Is that how Nandos is cooking their chicken to customers if there is a dispute?. I then asked her to cancel the whole order and process my refund and she rudely suggested i should leave the store as her employees need to go home and the system have shut down so she wont and in a sarcastic way she showed me the way out . And i asked for her no need to be rude and i left without my refund being processed. i am very appalled that i would receive such bad service from one of your store manager and i will never set foot in that restaurant again and people will know what kind of a manager she is and not to be served with her. If i had taken the chicken that was cooked for 4 minutes, my whole family was going to be food poisoned because of an attitude from the manager.
Not everyone wants free food. Please check your chicken before you eat because thats Salmonella waiting to enter your body. Bad manager Jameilla whatever your name is…….

As a regular Nando's customer I understand that this is not at all a realistic waiting time, let alone the fact that the restaurant was not at all busy compared to stores managed in locations such as freemans or highcross.
I requested to speak to the manager, whom took over 10 minutes to speak with us, (in fairness, he said five minutes beforehand that he'd be right with us). Once it came to handling the complaint, Ben seemed very uninterested and eager to get back on his feet to serve to his many frantic employees. The first offer did not cut it as we had to cancel an Uber (ordered 15 minutes after our order collection time) so I had mentioned this to him, then to have a hesitant answer in which he responded too fast for us to hear and walked off in an instant.
We then had to raise the issue with him again as we were very much uncertain of his action to satisfy our complaint. I found this situation was handled much worse than it could have been. Other store managers tend to handle customer satisfaction much more...
