I encountered a disappointing experience with the service at Bru. The blond server displayed a lack of professionalism when I expressed concerns about my pistachio latte. Having enjoyed this beverage on numerous occasions, I found that the drink I received did not resemble the one depicted in the menu and appeared to be poorly mixed, resulting in an appalling flavor. When I requested a replacement, the server declined, stating, “we can’t change a drink just because you don’t like it,” and exhibited a dismissive attitude.

Despite my request, she refused to accommodate, citing concerns about product waste, yet she discarded my drink anyway. The level of customer service I experienced was subpar, and when we ordered new drinks, which we paid for, she took an excessive amount of time to prepare them while engaging in conversation with a coworker. Consequently, we received lukewarm drinks, which we felt compelled to accept to avoid further confrontation with her...

Lady who served me (with braided hair and tattoo on her arm) was very rude, slammed the door on the food shelf when my mum asked for some butter with her cheese scone (which had no cheese by the way!), I ordered a waffle with Oreo crush minus cream, and I received a waffle with strawberries, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream - completely wrong. This woman (who I learned from her colleague is a shift leader!) also said in a stern manner to sit down and she'll bring it to us - she then yelled at us to come and collect it. Her co-workers were friendly and were obviously trying to keep their space away from her. Never coming here again, which is a shame because last time we did, we enjoyed it thoroughly. In hopes of leaving constructive criticism, please ensure that your staff know how to provide a reasonable customer service, for starters talking respectfully to prospective customers, getting orders correct and not being violent just because someone wanted butter...

Brü is a chic coffee place, right in the city- great for studying or seeing friends. Over the years I feel like their customer service has become poorer and the staff seems overworked. During Covid there’s no extra staff to guide, and they don’t seem bothered about the customers. It tends to always be busy, which is why their upstairs section isn't always cleaned as much. I ordered a mint-choc-chip and because of the rushing I was given a mint ice-cream instead. I really didn't want to bother them seeing how much they had to do, so I just had the ice-cream. But I am sure this could upset other clients. A bit more attention to detail and making the client feel like they've been served properly would be good! Their menu is a bit pricey, especially considering the customer service, but they offer a variety of items: ice-cream, cakes, coffee, milkshakes,...
