Wing Trapp is a fantastic spot for anyone craving delicious comfort food, and I recently had the pleasure of trying some of their standout dishes.

The Nashville Chicken Tenders are absolutely amazing! They're perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful, and when paired with the honey dip, they complement each other beautifully. The sweetness of the honey really enhances the spicy kick of the tenders, making for an unforgettable combination.

I also tried the Wing Shrimp Box, which is a great combo featuring wings, shrimp, and chips. Each component was nice, providing a satisfying meal that showcases their variety. However, the Nashville Chicken Tenders were definitely the standout for me; they stole the show with their deliciousness.

The garlic mayo and the comeback sauce were both nice additions, adding extra flavor to the meal, but the honey dip was truly the best of the bunch.

Additionally, I sampled the Ultimate Nashville Munch Box, which was really tasty and offered great value for my money as it allows you to try different dishes from the menu. It includes:

I really enjoyed the variety and the flavors in the Ultimate Nashville Munch Box—it was a fantastic way to experience what Wing Trapp has to offer!

The halloumi fries were nice, topped with ranch sauce, so if you don’t like ranch, you may not enjoy this dish as much. The strawberry cheesecake ticc shake was also nice—a sweet and creamy treat that complemented the meal well. The house fries were okay but didn’t stand out as much as the other dishes.

I had previously lived in Leicester but had never been to this chicken shop before. Last weekend on a day trip my partner and I met up with some friends and we had all agreed to meet at WingTrapp.

When we got there we were lucky to meet the owner of the shop, Fizz, my partner and I couldn’t decide what we wanted to try as there was lots of items on the menu that looked good so we asked the owner to recommend some of his favourites.

We ended up eating a variety of wings with different sauces, I really enjoyed the lemon pepper, the garlic parm and also the jerk ‘which the owner said might be his favourite as it’s very flavourful’, I can confirm that it was. We also had some blue razz lemonades and they were great, it was so good I had to ask for a second one. All the wings were nicely cooked and tasted fresh, the chips were nice and crispy and not oily as many chicken shop chips that you find. Our friends had a Nashville snack box which also looked really good and there was plenty of food that came with it so you could easily share between two.

For dessert we ended up having some white chocolate cookie dough, some milk chocolate cookie dough and some waffles with what I think was bueno sauce, they were really fresh, puffy and the sauce was incredible.

If you are ever in Leicester and you are looking for a good chicken shop which is different to normal as you can try so many different sauces, then this is the perfect place, especially as it’s between the train station and the town centre so it’s the perfect location.

I came in on Wednesday evening and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. When I first walked in, it took about 5 minutes till anyone even noticed I was there even though the shop was empty then when I was finally served by this lady she was the rudest person I’ve ever spoken to in my life. It clearly seemed like she didn’t want to be there and when asking her questions her replies were unhelpful and blunt. After I was told it would take between 10-12 minutes to make my food I wanted to sit down however there was food all over the floor stains on the seats the tables and chairs were all over the place you would think the place had never been cleaned. When I had been sitting there for over 20 minutes I decided to ask what had happened to my food and I got the response that it was on its way it was just being bagged but I clearly saw that this tall asian man was shocked as he had forgotten to put my food in the fryer and quickly put it in as I was asking about it. I then asked for a refund as it had been too long and they said no as they could not give refunds for silly reasons as if forgetting to make my food is a silly reason. Anyway when I finally got my food after 35 minutes when I was told it would take 10-12 minutes I went home and I realised that I had been given the wrong sauce as well as that there were sesame seeds on the chicken which I am allergic to and I did state when asking which flavour I should choose.
