We fell lucky and managed to have this venue to ourselves on our wedding day. Maxine was fantastic from start to finish, from the moment we enquired about hosting our wedding day meal here, to the moment we left a very satisfied, married couple. Nothing was too much hassle and we were made to feel valued from the first moment we got in contact. We were greeted with smile on arrival and led upstairs to an area that was cleared for us to enjoy a glass of prosecco before returning downstairs for a three course meal. We were offered a set menu which was made to suit our taste. We had a choice of three separate starters, mains and desserts for the unbeatable price of £23.50 a head. All of the food was amazing. There wasn't a single complaint from any of the 28 guests, all of the food arrived together, freshly made and piping hot. The quality of food served was far superior to any sit down meal I have attended in venues that charge a premium to host a wedding. Overall we are extremely impressed and honored that the team at No.90 made such an effort ensuring that we had a fantastic experience for our big day. After paying a deposit and pre-ordering food ("because they're a very small restaurant"), Paul Webster, the owner/cook at No. 90 Bar & Grill, called me a few times on Sunday evening and kept dropping the call when I answered. It sounded like a telemarketer so I said "I think you've got the wrong number". He then mentions No. 90 Bar & Grill. He then accuses me of being a "demanding customer", being rude to his manager, threatens he has my messages I sent (I would love for him to display them for everyone to see and decide what was so rude) and then tells me that he has a waiting list for my table! Very confused I asked what I'd said that was anything like rude but he couldn't explain so to end the very uncomfortable call I asked if he just wanted me to cancel the table. I still don't know his genuine reason or motive. He told me I'd get my refund the next day. I then had to chase the refund for 2 days after being ghosted before I got it back. Read moreWent to this restaurant last night (Wed 20th August 2025) absolutely fabulous, booked a table for 4, we was met by a very friendly smiling waitress who showed us to our table, she was very efficient, we ordered our food from the set order and 2 of the party ordered al a carte.
