Stopped here when we couldn’t find a pub and we are so glad we did. We didn’t eat but had some amazing drinks accompanied by salted almonds and the most delicious olives. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful with us and our two dogs. We bought a bottle of Bottega Caramel to take home as a gift but the choice is endless. Would highly recommend. Thank you for such a great break from the heat. 👌🏼👍🏼

Lovely relaxing coffee and cake after walking the dog. Staff very friendly and helpful so I have visited on other occasions for cocktails, quiz nights and tasting events. Brilliant and would recommend. Overlooking Bude triangle with free on street parking or other car parks if you need longer than 1 hour. Close to shops, beaches, canal walk, coastal path, golf course, etc

We visited to try some Cornish gin and rum. Huge choice, really well served. Great table service. Well stocked store at reasonable prices. Seating is used cinema seats. Dog friendly. We had the cheese charcuterie board which was generous. All delicious and great quality. Clean toilets on the ground floor. Staff are knowledgeable and local.

Embarrassing experience here today. Stood by the door waiting for my other half who was browsing the wine then beginning to make our way out to be shouted at by the older lady member of staff in front of 2 tables of customers Have you paid? Excuse me have you paid? My partner said yes I have to which she then proceeded to shout to the staff behind the counter again in front of the customer seated Have they paid? Have they? Have they paid and when the lovely girl behind the counter confirmed we had to be told 'OK you can go'! No apology, no look of embarrassment, well there was from me but not from her - OK you can go! Shocking. Always pop here for a coffee, drink when in Bude but won't be doing it again after today. Now I know our not stopping for a coffee, cocktail etc every now and again isn't going to effect your business but I hope those that read this review think twice before entering and parting with their hard earned cash and handing it over to a rude women who thinks they can talk to people in this manner and it be acceptable because let me tell you lady - IT ISNT! How dare you think I would walk out without paying. Some of your customers may and if this is the case then maybe you need to change how you run...

Unfortunately had a poor experience here which was surprising as we'd been a few times before and enjoyed it. My wife had an espresso martini, her and my cocktail of choice. It was bitter and undrinkable, we each had a sip and subsequently complained. The response from manager and cocktail maker, who were one and the same, was that it was up to their normal standard and that we were in the wrong. They did offer to put in more sugar syrup which we declined and so my wife opted for a gin and tonic instead. On leaving and paying the bill by contactless my wife noticed that they had still charged us £9.95 for the rejected cocktail that we'd had 2 sips out of. We again complained but the manager insisted that she would not and could not refund the money. I felt like we'd been ambushed. I have since discussed this with other business owners in Bude who informed me that this place has recently changed hands. I don't mind places charging top end prices if they deliver top end quality and service. This place now thinks its something...

Attention tourists from other parts of Britain, avoid here at all costs. Refused to accept our Scottish money because "the post office advised them to" which is point blankly untrue. The post office is a national, British organisation and if this were the case, they would not accept Scottish banknotes in Scotland. There were no signs displayed stating that Scottish currency is not accepted otherwise we would not have chosen to entertain here. The way in which staff handled this caused a great deal of embarrassment, pretty much accusing us of using fake notes and insinuating that we couldn't afford to...
