My family and I had the pleasure of visiting The Nothe Tavern today, and it was an experience worth cherishing. Despite arriving early for our booking, the staff welcomed us with open arms and radiant smiles, instantly putting us at ease. Their genuine warmth made the wait enjoyable as we savored the anticipation of what was to come.

The menu offered a delightful array of options, catering to various tastes. While my wife and I indulged in the delectable lamb kofta, bursting with flavor and perfectly seasoned, our son thoroughly enjoyed his classic chicken nuggets and chips, cooked to crispy perfection.

In particular, the gentleman at the bar exuded charm and hospitality, enhancing our dining experience tenfold.

We visited here twice during our holiday. The first time there was a limited menu so we decided we would book in for a meal later in the week. So glad we did! The menu offers something a little different as well as your traditional faves. I had the chicken souvlaki and my fella had lamb koftas. My little boy had chicken nuggets and all of the plates were handed back clean. The puddings were also delicious and my little lad practically inhaled the chocolate brownie! Have to say though that what truly outweighs the excellent food here are the staff. As soon as we walked in we were greeted like we ate there every week. They go out of their way to make you feel like it's a home from home. There's a genuine banter and laughter between the bar staff that makes the atmosphere feel inviting and welcoming. It's the only pub we have been to all week where we have stayed a little longer and had a few more drinks. We was in Tuesday with my sister and my husband for her birthday the bar staff was very welcoming and friendly even said happy birthday too me they said we could sit anywhere in the restaurant which seeing as my husband is poorly really helped they brought us over the menus and drinks so we didn’t have to do much they brought out the food that was lovely but my husband couldn’t finish so they even went out there way and got a box so he could finish it later they asked if everything was ok and that we was happy which we really was happy they asked and brought over sauces the staff here are wonderful and it’s a wonderful friendly pub that sometimes you don’t get in Weymouth but me my sister and my husband will be returning again soon just for the staff alone makes us want to return the chap in the baseball cap was wonderful even went out his way to help my husband up when he struggled to get up keep up the good work and welcoming atmosphere thank you...
