Dear management
I have visited this cafe 15+ times since it has opened in the summer as I am local to the area so this is based of me giving it a real chance over the months it has been open vs the popular chains which are opposite to Ole & Steen.
Having visited the brand in other areas I can assure you that this location is possibly the worst in regards to customer service, coffee preparation and general house keeping standards.
The staff all be it are polite but are completely unaware of how to prepare simple coffees, if you have member of staff working behind the machine you would expect that the company would have trained them on how to make barista coffees. Cappuccinos and lattes just taste warm and watery. To add to disappointment it often takes at best 5 minutes+ to receive a coffee once you have placed your order at the till.
I am really surprised at how this location hasn’t been given the right training as the pastries and complementary food items are fantastic. It is the inexperienced staff who are the let down as the customer service is not quite there at all.
I do hope management read this review and take the time to carefully train their staff to provide customers a good experience when dining in their coffee shop. Once staff have been properly trained this location will become a delightful place to visit.
PS is there a pet policy? Often have seen dogs sitting on chairs with owners where staff don’t say anything - if pets are allowed fine if not this could be a problem with hygiene.

I went to Your branch in Windsor on 25th February. The service was incredibly poor whilst paying, there was little order to the queue system and the staff seemed a unaware of who had or had not been served. We then sat down to eat our food and enjoy our warm drinks (the quality of which we enjoyed). This was interrupted on three occasions by staff members trying to clear our plates before we were finished. This not only made us feel unwelcome and rushed but also is just incredibly impolite to clear whilst people are still eating. When the plates were cleared the staff member was lifting the crockery over my newborn baby in their pram with one hand. I asked them to please lift the crockery and cutlery around the open bassinet and not over the top. He responded very confrontationally by saying twice ‘I am not going to hit him am I’. I went to the manager who appeared incredibly busy, I informed her of our experience and she apologised. I said that I wanted an apology from the server, without actually checking she informed me that he was on break so would not be able to, this is despite the fact that he was still working on the floor within eyesight. After 10 minutes or so, the manager finally called the server in question into the back and he came out and offered a clearly insincere apology. By this point I said fine and we left. The reason for my poor review is the service they offer, so far since it has opened i have purchased food or drinks 6 times and only once did i receive a good level of service! But today’s experience was by far the worse, i popped in on the way to work to buy a pastry, at that time i was the only customer at the counter, all the staff were at one end or in the kitchen area, one young lady did see me but carried on cleaning, another lady came out and did something with the coffee machine, neither acknowledged me or offer to assist, i stood there for a number of minutes and was totally ignored, this wasn’t down to level of activity, this was down to quite frankly poor service, it does seem that the staff quite often have no organisation and are left to their own devices, sadly that will be the last time i use this establishment, i can accept a level of poor sevice due to inexperienced staff and new systems, however i refuse to accept a lack of customer service due to...
