Not one to leave a review over something so small but never experienced such a pathetic display of business practice. A scoop of salad with quiche was £1.90. Thought it was expensive but fine. Manager proceeds to loudly complain to the server, asking if she's used a bigger ladel which she denies and I can see is true because it's the one in the bowl. Manager heats quiche and I'm given half the salad i was already served and paid! Understand if she thought it was too much but it was served and paid for by this point, correct your portion size the next time. How she wasn't ashamed of her behaviour, I don't know. Her server certainly seemed to be when I queried why half was missing and just the liquid from the salad running on the plate. Didn't pay that much to be served a few bits of cucumber and tomato. Lady, get some training in, you clearly are in dire need of it to run a business. And if you need to correct your staff, do it in private, don't talk loudly in front of the customer. The kitchen refused to make them, they said they could only slice so many loaves of bread a day - so I offered to buy a loaf so they could use the bread and that was shortly followed by another excuse. They weren’t busy on both occasions and the staff working were rather unfriendly. I told the staff on the day how disappointing my last two visits have been- they didn’t seem that bothered.
IF YOU HAVE UNDER 5s AND ARE LOOKING FOR A SANDWICH LUNCH,...
