Not a very good night for Prezzo tonight.First off walking into reception we were greeted with the most disgusting overwhelming smell of sewage,to the point we nearly left right away.We were seated well and served quickly. We ordered drinks but a tea did not arrive and I had to go and chase it up as it had been forgotten. We then ordered our meals and requested our mains and starters arrive all together as my 11yr old had garlic bread as a main, her garlic bread arrived first not followed by our mains,so she ate alone and finished way before our mains arrived. Once our mains did arrive the meals did not even fit on the table,5 of us were squeezed onto 2 small square tables that were barely big enough for 4 toddlers,I had to try and eat my pizza with half the plate off the table. I also had to try and cut my pizza with a knife that would only just cut butter,if I order a pizza I would expect it to either be cut for me into slices or be supplied with a pizza cutter as part of my utensils,we did not get offered this or any sauces with our meal either. To top it all off my wife had the old cliche favourite of 2 hairs in her salad, which were clearly not hers. The staff were very pleasant through the visit but when we brought the issues to their attention they seemed a bit niaive as to what to do,and at no point did any manager come to see us. Over all the food was nice but the visit as a whole a bit annoying as we hate grumbling or causing a fuss. Would I return to this venue, with the mass selection of competition in the same area,no I...
Read moreFood is delicious, had the King Prawn Risotto and Calzone Pizza and also the flat bread share platter. Had higher expectations for the truffel and parmesan fries as they are a favourite of mine, but I was disappointed to see just regular french fries with grated parmesan on top, any effort on preparing them. Staff is so unprofessional- 4 different girls came to our table, each every minute....we were Obviously still looking at the menu and we felt under pressure, like they were rushing us. As a person in Hospitality business, I am expecting some sort of common sense from them and communication between each other. Another thing - the girl that took our drinks order was not aware of the Sims they have. I asked for Hendricks and tonic and her reply was 'what is that?" I doubt they have more than 3 gins and she could only tell me Bombay. Still at the middle of our dinner, we were Obviously not finished yet and one of the waitresses passed our table staring at our plates for way too long. Even with our plates half full and cutlery on the side of them, she still couldn't assume we had not finished yet! We felt pressured again- can we not stop eating for a minute so we can have a nice and relaxed conversation and evening?!? We wanted a relaxed evening for celebration ... otherwise we would have gone...
Read moreFood was good, tasty, maybe pizza was a bit burned on edges, but i like crispy so it's good to me, and kids pizza supposed to be with peperoni, but it came with cheese only, starters was perfect, then mains, when we received mains two our friens was still waiting forks and knives. When we finished no one bothered to come and pick empty plates, when we started build tower from the plates then he noticed. Service was horible. Yes it was quite busy, but it's not excuse. We been never asked if everything ok, maybe we want something more, and when waitress was not so busy he just walking and imitating work. Plastic spoons for children deserts (one of them was broken corner) come on Prezzo check before you serving something for kids, we been told that Peroni draft finished, but after couple minutes another table sitting in front of us get big bottle of it, no one even bothered to offer something else. Don't want to take to long, but in conclusion if you not picky, and you don't want good service go to Prezzo Bournemouth, but if you picky, and want service for what you paying, try to find another place... I'm not talking about other Prezzo, just about Prezzo...
