Stopped in for an early dinner and had a lovely time, with delicious food, comfortable setting, and extremely friendly staff! We have been here a few times but this is the first time we have had food. It certainly won't be the last! 4 of us eating, we had 2 starters, 2 light mains, 2 normal mains, a side of fries and a side of chunky chips. The portions were all generous, and so we all left full and satisfied. The duck parfait was delicious! And huge! Really rich full flavours. The black pudding scotch egg was beautifully cooked, lovely runny yoke, but cooked egg white and cooked meat. Incrediblely flavoursome and so moreish! The ham, egg, and chips was surprising how big it was, definitely value for money. The ham was delicious, and the eggs cooked very well, both with runny yokes. The chips were cooked to perfection, nice and crisp with lovely fluffy insides, seasoned beautifully too. The steak ciabatta was excellent, really lovely sweetness from the onion jam that blended so well with the blue cheese sauce. The steak was cooked just under well done and had no chewiness to it was great, and the flavours were full on so really enjoyable food. The lamb shawama was full of flavour, and had lots of different vegetables on so was very fresh, with lovely spices. The fries and chunky chips were all delicious, really nicely cooked and well seasoned. All the food came to just under £65 which we felt was well worth it. Drinks wise we had the NZ sauvignon which was delicious, the neon sunset IPA which was really nice and refreshing, and the kids had two cokes. Highly recommend coming here, we will...

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had at Red Cow. As a non-pork eater, I specifically ordered a dish from the menu that did not contain this meat. However, upon receiving my meal after a 30-minute wait, which I had already paid for in advance, I was dismayed to discover that it contained pork. While the dish appeared visually appealing, upon tasting it, I detected an unpleasant flavor that. It was pork!!! When I inquired with the waitress about the presence of pork in the dish, she was initially unaware and had to consult the kitchen staff. She later informed me that it was a "classic recipe." Furthermore, I was disappointed that no alternative options were immediately offered to accommodate my dietary restrictions. It was only after I inquired about pork-free options that I was begrudgingly offered a burger without bacon, which took an additional 20 minutes to prepare. Although the burger patty itself was tasty, as someone who dislikes caramelized onions, I was unable to enjoy half of the burger. What struck me the most was the lack of consideration for allergens, failure to disclose the full ingredients of the dish, absence of an apology, and the failure to offer a refund for the misrepresented meal. I cannot in good conscience recommend your establishment to others. It is my suggestion that you revisit your staff training on customer service and attentiveness to...

One star for the building which is very interesting. One star for the helpful waitresses. That is it. Overpriced and uninteresting menu. Only two vegan/vegetarian dishes. A fair proportion of the dishes on offer were hamburgers ... if I want a hamburger I go to MaDonalds. Portions were small . A turkey pie and 6 roasted potatoes at, as I recall, £14, is one such example of the lack of any value for money. Wine at £25 a bottle or even more, and a run of the mill German lager at £5, demonstrates further the excessive prices. The owners have packed in as many tables as they can so that there is barely room to swing a cat. I had to get up to let people through to their tables. And was seated about 18 inches from a gentleman at the next table who had brought with him his dog, which barked. It isn't a pub in any meaningful sense of the word...just an overcrowded restuarant with a drinks licence. I left disappointed for my friend who paid a large sum of money for very little. Not somewhere I can recommend or will ever visit again. Other pubs in Nantwich may charge equally excessively but there is just the chance that they may give...

Very friendly service with exceptional food. Was shown to my immaculate "African themed room' on arrival which made me happy because I am African and they had no idea 😁. I did comment on how hot the room was because the central heating was on (like a sauna) and was told i would switch off at some point. It was still on by the time I went out that evening and came back around 11pm and all night. Safe to say I had a really really bad night despite the windows being open (plus the noise from traffic and ravers). I had a tiring 3 hour drive back home. Hopefully they will fix it soon 😉
