Regent Restaurant — Restaurant in England

Overpriced food, had 2 small breakfasts, cup of tea n coffee n it cost us £15.35, OMG!!! When it came it really didn't look appertising to start with but then my dad found a hair in his breakfast but i must say they apologised and asked what we would like to do so he ordered another 1. After waiting a further 15 minutes they'd actually made him a big breakfast which i was appreciative of but unfortunately he passed over a rasher of bacon and when i cut into it i found another hair which by this time i'd really had enough and just walked out. Before this i did ask them to clean my table because it was very dirty from previous customers but not 1 person came to do it so i had to wipe it over myself which didn't start my experience off well but wecwould never ever go back again. Compared with my last visit, a few years ago, there had been a massive improvement. A bit cramped and short on space and the food once ordered took a little while to arrive at the table, but when it did, it was worth waiting for! Fish cooked to order and not at all greasy. Mine was served with a wonderful freshly made salad and couldn't have been more delightful. My companions had the traditional seaside fayre of fish and chips and a refreshingly cooling ham salad with chilled bottled water. Visited today, really disappointed.....ordered from takeaway hatch. Looked inside to see a rather disorganised kitchen....Had large chips(which was going to be shared between 2 people) seemed more like half of one portion of chips. They were dry & not hot. Also ordered cod, this was overcooked & very greasy. Also tried to order onion rings, they didn't have any. Hardly any choice for vegetarians....Prices, for what you get, are just not of good quality. The Regent is in a prime location near Weston Super Mare seafront.... read some of your awful reviews, & Get It Right!......come on, you have got to do better...
