Repas7 — Restaurant in England

A really odd ball. We decided we did not want a high street chain coffee shop. So we chose Repas7.

Why do people spend money on a double bass and painting a keyboard on the counter, when there is no papertowel dispenser in the toilet, juat a pile of towels?

Panini was very nice with an unusual soft italian style roll.

The service was pants ! 25 minute wait to find out our iced latte had been forgotten and the panini was still waiting to be constructed. Please get your staff to do the food preparation. He was very capable and you left him there staring into space ... delegate.

It is a good location and plwnty od space.

The passion fruit cake was very creamy and oily, it did not need all the trimming. The prune frangipan was nice.

The atmosphere was stark as everyone was waiting for their food and drinks.

The tea is awful, please buy quality strong brand.

Our first day in Berwick. We walked into town and looked at a few places to eat but this place caught our eye. Didn't look mainstream like some of the others. We circled back in the end and ordered some pizza and some drinks.

Excellent service, lovely friendly staff and some excellent live music too.

Couldn't ask for anything more.

We had our 2 kids of 5 and 7 month with us. Our little boy loved seeing the band set up. Unfortunately we had to get the kids back to where we were staying so we only watched them warming up but I think we missed a treat. :)

We're only staying a few days otherwise we'd definitely come back and will again if we do come back to Berwick in the...

Nice place and lovely food but after waiting almost an hour for just a cup of tea, soup and a fruit tart, we were almost past caring. Young staff obviously not particularly bothered about the delay. Curious system of not being able to order a whole meal at once - just order drinks first, then wait again to order food. So by the time the sweet arrives, the coffee’s a distant memory. What’s that about? Yes I know all cafes are busy, but (and as a cafe owner myself, out for a break ) I really couldn’t recommend unless they do some serious staff training or you have a lot of time to waste.
