Brilliant cafe to visit for a bit of class. My wife and her mum visit often and rave about it so when I was in town, I took my daughter. Now she has been several times and said it's so popular, you will habe to wit for a table at lunchtime. We were there at 3pm so quite a few tables available. They have a very nice menu with toasties, panninis, jackets and salads etc. All around the £6 mark. It's all freshly made to order and very fine indeed. I had a chicken, bacon and cheese baggett which came with salad and my daughter had a tuna and cheese one. Someone had a jacket and it was huge with masdive toppings. Coffee is also available in a cafetiere which hold 1.5 cups and for £2.70, good value. They have 3 strengths. Now, their home made cakes ate just ain amazing. We had 3 portions of carrot cake and at £2.50 per slice, for the dize and quality, perfect. Absolutely fab. Lovely staff too. Clean toilets just up a short stair case. A perfect lunch. All in all 25 quid. Visit this place and keep a quality independent cafe on the map.

Robbie Johnsons. One our favourite places to eat. The food is tasty and fresh. The staff are very nice too. If you have a sweet tooth you won't be disappointed by the display of home made cakes and cheesecakes. They do afternoon tea and they have seasonal specials too....try it you will love it...

First time in years visiting this place. It is always a pleasure to visit. Kind friendly staff and exceptional food and prices. Great idea location while visiting the town centre. Milkshakes are a must try! Or even just a simple coffee.

The change of management has not done this place any good. We have eaten here many times before but things have gone downhill and we won’t be going back ever again. We walked in, we used to be seated but this time we were told to go and sit over there 👉. We made our way to a clean but wet table that our menus stuck to. We waiting longer than we should’ve done to order our food. The food did come very quickly once we’d ordered. I ordered a £14 Pulled Pork Flat Bread that was on the specials menu. It was anything but special! It was tiny. I got the attention of a waitress to try and politely address the issue. She must have been new to the job because she had no idea what to say. I asked to speak to the manager to be told ‘he’s over there with black hair if you want him but he’s very busy’. I then firmly insisted that she get the manager to come over to me. She did, eventually. The manager came over and, didn’t want to listen, he was very defensive, claiming that the food has been like this for years. No it has not! Robbie Johnson’s - Your staff need training, your customer service is terrible and your value is on a...

Shocking experience today, went with my 92 year old nan. The manager was rude and unable to take polite criticism: Ordered soup and sandwich, the soup was SO SALTY I couldn’t eat. I politely informed the manager immediately after tasting and was happy to not have a replacement and just eat the sandwich, unfortunately for me the BREAD WAS WET, there was water on the plate, I then found a small BLACK HAIR in the food. I politely informed the manager again and showed him, he did not take this well and argued I was looking at mango chutney. I disagreed and pointed out the black hair and wet bread. Again not wanting to cause a fuss I said I was happy just have my coffee which still hadn’t arrived, now my nan had finished her lunch. I went to pay, excluding the soup and sandwich. The manager followed us out the door and said we were rude and not to come back. Wow he really needs to look at his manor and customer services. Utterly shocking!...
