Hull Central Library — Attraction in Great Britain

It is very bad to see the central library in city of culture not opening at the time they told online. Now is 9:45am on Friday when should be open to public 15 minutes ago. I can see in this 15 minutes past 7 people, including me try to go in but obviously not possible! Even when I called the told me the same time table as online shows that is "not too busy". Well, should not be, because it is not open yet or maybe never be open. I have to amend the number of people to 10 now. It is Christmas's period, yes, we know but online amendment is easy and informative AND is the place everyone check, specially in holiday...

Had an appointment with a male member of staff (never told us his name) sort of had curly black hair. Was very condescending in the way he spoke to me and my friend. Started arguing with us about that we didn't bring in the right documents for our meeting even though it is not specifically stated on the council website what you need, it's just very brief. Traveled 3 miles for the appointment, only to find it was a complete waste of time.

Also kept calling me "mate" all the way through the appointment, no...

Brilliant library, fantastic staff with a real sense of serving the community. Has a changing spaces toilet on the upper floor. Children's library is wonderful and they run regular craft activities.
