Roosters Piri Piri — Restaurant in England

I had a meal the food was amazing! BUT I recieved it in a plastic pot with lid and clearly unrecyclable along with three plastic cutlery which isn't very good considering our current plastic pollution. I also felt pressured to leave a review on trip advisor for a free drink and tried to say no but was afraid of sounding rude so I eventually agreed and as it came to the amount of stars I would give it the man at the till pressed 5 stars on my phone and this is during Covid and I am shocked that he touched my phone even in normal circumstances. I was very uncomfortable in there because of that. The good was good but the way they handled things we're not okay. At first when I walked in the lady was nice but then the whole trip advisor shananigan really upset me and my friend as we had to get going to college and took a long time.

Probably won't go again as I don't want to use such bad plastic or go through pressure.

Good food though, chicken was well cooked and lovely taste I had the lemon and rice is pretty average.

I never post my thoughts about the business as I never have had a terrible experience but I've never encountered this...

Absolutely awful... we tried ordering through Deliveroo earlier today at 12:20pm and after no update on the order for 40 minutes, we called the restaurant to ask whether they got the order, to which they told us that the driver had just left to deliver our food. After nothing for 20 minutes (restaurant is 10 mins away, max), we called again only to be told they had never received our order. We ordered again at 1:30pm, from Just Eat this time, and waited until 2:35pm, no food. We called the restaurant again, to which we were hung up on, and when we called again at 2:50pm they told us that the driver had just left and would be 10 minutes. we waited another 25 minutes before the driver arrived, and when we checked the food, nothing was labelled (we ordered 5 wraps, so we had no idea whose was whose) and we were missing a bag of fries. I ordered food from roosters piri piri last night, thru ( Just Eat ))and when my order was late i phoned the restaurant , they said that id already phoned them and changed the address for delivery, I told them that i hadn't and he hung the phone up on me, i phoned them back and they hung up on me again, so i got in contact with just eat , they said they will give me my money back , but what a horrible evening, i ended up eating a sausage sandwich, and i have to wait 3 to 7 days to get my money back, i have now deleted my just eat account, as i believe that just eat has been hacked, so to anyone reading this think twice before ordering thru just eat, and of course from roosters piri piri, as they did not check the phone number that rang them pretending to me, if they had they would have known...
