Great experience with Beirut Lounge. I was working away in Bournemouth staying a the Travelodge and ordered via Just Eat. I love a good Lebanese and the first restaurant I ordered from cancelled the order without ringing to tell us why. So I ordered from Beirut instead and with no regrets after. Firstly, I ordered lamb livers as a starter (amongst other dishes) and was rang shortly after by them informing me they had ran out of lamb liver and if they could replace it with chicken livers, which I was fine with. Now this of course should be standard proceedure but the amount of times places simply replace the dish with something different without informing you/asking what you would like instead is far too often, so customer service was great in that respect. Also, I must note that the gentleman who rang me was very happy, polite and a pleasure to talk to, too goes a long way in my books. The food came within a very reasonable time and was fantastic. I've eaten at plenty of good Lebanese restaurants all around the UK and this was up there with the best, cannot fault them. It was so enjoyable I ordered again the next day, this time met with who I believe to be the gentleman I spoke to on the phone, very friendly, very happy and asked "Did you enjoy it last night then?", clearly remembering my custom. I simply had to shake his hand.

Their catering services are impeccable – not only did they tailor the menu to our preferences and dietary needs for the office 'Lunch & Learn', but they also ensured timely delivery for my engagement party. The food was a symphony of classic Lebanese flavours, leaving everyone impressed and satisfied and also wanting more! I had a colleague order a takeaway from them that following week she was that impressed! From crispy falafel to succulent grilled meats and refreshing salads, each dish was a testament to their mastery of Lebanese cuisine.

As a diner, the experience is equally exceptional. The warm welcome, impeccable service, and inviting ambiance create the perfect setting for a memorable meal. And with prices that offer exceptional value, dining here is always a pleasure. The owner also came out and shook the hands of all my friends and family and I personally think this is a lovely touch and makes you feel very special.

We had a very disappointing experience. It took 30 minutes just to receive the soup of the day, and after 50 minutes of waiting for the main course (and asking about it several times), we gave up, paid for the drinks and soup, and left. Meanwhile, three other families who arrived with and after us were already served their mains, with one group finishing. The staff claimed the delay was because salmon takes time to prepare, which felt like a poor excuse, especially considering there were only four tables occupied, so it wasn’t even a busy time. On top of that, we couldn’t stay any longer as we had a 6-year-old boy with us who had been waiting almost an hour for food, which simply isn’t right. After leaving, I read other reviews and saw that many people had similar experiences. Sadly, this seems to be a recurring issue. I don’t recommend...
