I recently visited Spice India and was thoroughly impressed with the dining experience! The new owners have done a fantastic job revitalizing the ambiance and menu. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home.

The menu offers a delightful mix of classic Indian dishes and innovative new creations. We started with the samosas, which were perfectly crispy and flavorful. For our main course, we tried the butter chicken and the vegetable biryani. Both dishes were exceptional – the butter chicken was rich and creamy, and the biryani was fragrant with just the right amount of spice.

What stood out the most was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

The Curry Lounge is in a great location in the centre of Truro. It has recently opened approximately 3 weeks ago.

The food was very well presented and the menu extensive with reasonable prices. There was a discount for NHS workers.

The Chicken Tikka Kerker starter was really tasty and the portion was very generous. The main course of Beef Falguni was great with plenty of flavour without being over powered by the taste of chilli. A very subtle and excellent dish.

The Saffron-pilau rice was excellent and the portion very generous. The side of roti was delicious.

There were plenty of vegetarian options.

The Service was excellent and the host very engaging and friendly.

I have been to all the curry houses in Truro and in my opinion this serves by far the best food and appears to be very authentic.

After being let down with our initial booking for New Year's Eve we managed to get a table here. After thinking it was a little bit pricey, we soon discovered why - because the food is absolutely beautiful! Freshly cooked to order and happy to do a couple of custom dishes for one of our party, the food is flavoursome, fresh, not at all oily and really different flavours, all slightly tweaked from the original dishes we would expect.
